“My wife and I stop by this Dollar General location quite often during our travels through Lamar. It's a relatively new store that's always clean and well stocked with merchandise. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. We highly recommend this store!”
“Always a super grocery store to stop at as I travel from West Virginia to New Jersey. I love all the variety and local foods and prepped food. Super clean and well stocked everything , including the beautiful produce. Even ethnic foods and local favorites. The fresh fish department always has jumbo shrimp and a variety of fish fillets.... sometimes on-sale. I always stop for some prepared fish or scallops. Today, 10/23/2025 I found some lump crab at a reasonable price and I'll make crab cakes at home in WV. What a big variety of salads and fresh deli meats, along with prepared foods. All are well made and delicious. Pick up some wine or beer from their large variety. There's an attached liquor store and gas station, too. My car just automatically exits the highway for the Bellefonte exit and heads right here every time! You'll love this store. It's my favorite supermarket of all time!”
“Have products I need for my weight loss program. All the types of sugar free salad dressings, low sodium spaghetti sauce, low sodium, low sugar vegetables. A little pricey but all things good for us is higher.”
“I get my prescriptions here and this pharmacy is located in a grocery store so you can purchase items in the store when you come to get your medicines. The pharmacists and techs are helpful and pleasant.”
“I stopped at dollar general to purchase somethings. As always employees were kind and eager to help. The store has come so.far in just a few months. Thebmanager has a great staff right now. I went to my car and it wouldn't start. I went back in and asked for a number to get my car jumped. The sales associate Kelly an myself were not from the area, so we knew no one. She went above and beyond and stepped outside to help me jump my car. I have am so grateful for the community I live and work. Thank you again to Kelly.”

“Store I think prices were a little high for that particular style business I would still go up to loganson senior ridge but if you gotta run somewhere quick I'd go in there you know it's a friendly atmosphere what other than that I wouldn't go there often you know I gave it 4 stars but that's because you know the food is good it's convenient uh you know uh you know uh”

“This store has employee shortage like most stores. But the employees (God Bless them) that do come in. Are polite and over worked. Please be nice! If you want special bags. Maybe bring them with you. Some of our stores are not going to be providing them. So I always keep some handy”

“The atmosphere is that of an old-fashioned general store and we ordered take out sub sandwiches which were quite good. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is in the Milesburg Pennsylvania area”
