“The day got away from me working on my project. Before i knew it the my local store was a half hour away from closing. I placed an online order 30 minutes before closing and took a chance and called the store to see if it was a remote possibility of getting a tinted gallon of paint. I have been in retail over 30 years and i won't go to any place 30 minutes before closing. It's my thing. I called and I was completely fine with picking the gallon of paint up the next morning but i wanted to try to paint that evening, again i lost tract of time. Unfortunately, i did not get the sales associate's name but he was so unbelievably helpful and offered to even stay past closing so i could receive my paint. I had no parts of that cause i would not want anyone to stay past closing. Fortunately i live 10 minutes from the store and made it there 5 minutes before close and received my paint. The customer service was amazing! This is how l've been treated for more than 20 years from Sherwin’ awesome stuff! Thank you so much!”
“The Hockessin Ace Hardware store is no doubt the best in this area. The store is clean and well stocked, especially the people there. They are the best of the best. They bend backward to help everyone. My kind of store.”
“They went above and beyond to match a difficult color code. They double and triple checked it before they mixed the paint. Definitely going to be my go to paint store!”
“Helpful with finding products I needed for my project. Color match was perfect for the paint repair I needed to complete. Sales assoc went above and beyond to provide me with the assistance I needed and answered all of my questions, even exploring options I wasn’t aware to ask about”
“Joe ( the manager) is the most knowledgeable about his products. He has always steered me in the right direction. I won’t buy paint anywhere else. I have also seen him help his employees in a supportive manner. How refreshing!!The store is clean and organized and the color selection is really good.I highly recommend the Kirkwood Highway location.”
“I called about getting a spare key for my car made. Neil answered the phone and answered all questions. I was asking quite a few questions and he was super patient and nice. If they hire workers like Neil, then you know the place is run very well. Thank you so much! :)”
“This store just moved to a new location. It's fully stocked with everything you will need, no reason to drive to HomeDepot. The owners are so helpful, you'd think they were running a non-profit organization.”
“As soon as I opened the front door and entered the store, I was greeted immediately, and service was there to give me assistance. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Great service, kind workers, very respectful.”
“Outstanding customer service. Super friendly team. Immaculate store. We used to shop at a different Sherwin-Williams, but this is our go-to. Location is convenient and safe with good parking.”
“Great experience so far. In store Gabe let me know about the contractor accounts. Within a day Chris the account rep reached out and set me up with an account and was able to source other supplies that are not listed in the store. Great communication and happy to have a new local supplier for some daily consumables that we use!”
“Wanted to share that Chris and the team at this store in Stanton, Delaware were phenomenal. He helped identify a perfect color match for a circa 1970s Honda SL100 motorcycle candy ruby red metallic color. And it was used with the Fastline FA3PSG grey primer and FA72KCG 2k clearcoat. The SprayMax 1k FillClean 368 2071 color from Peter Kwansy was splendid. Prepared there at the store and filled in a spray aerosol can. The result in the base clear process turned out beautifully. The FG712 glaze also helped to get a great working surface for final preparation and painting. I can’t thank Chris and the team there enough for their help and guidance.”
