“My wife and I are originally from the coal region and currently live in NC. Every time we come back to visit family and friends, we load up the cooler with great meats,cheese, and other coal region favorites that we can't get down south. The staff is very attentive and friendly.”

“Deb's pizza is really good. The pretzel stand has a variety of pretzels and drinks. It is hard to find parking but worth going. Best to go after 10 to find a parking spot.”

“This is a great place to buy stuff in bulk. They have large bags of stuff that a lot of the local businesses use, like French fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, hot cheese cubes (my personal favorite) and soooooo much more...they also get some really good ice cream. Staff is always very polite, professional and helpful....and they're always very sweet to my children.”

“I stop at Mount Carmel Turkey hill daily. They do a good job and they are usually stocked up pretty good. Kudos to people who are in customer service, they deal with some pretty shifty people. I stopped going in at the wee morning hours when I go to work but overall they have nice staff and a clean store.”

“Great staff, always clean. Even though there’s not a lot of pumps for gas it doesn’t take long to have access to a pump. It’s a great spot to stop on your way to Knoebels, there is a bathroom located inside and of course for those who enjoy a nice cold refreshing beer they have an area for it including tables for you to sit down and take a drink. The bathroom is a great size bigger than most Turkey hills.”

Another negative is that this location doesn't have the specialty case. The speciality case has fresh desserts. The other Boyers in Mt.Carmel,Pottsville and Frackville all have it. General car care products like oil. A small selection of tools. Some everyday household items and office supplies. Snacks, cereals, and boxed goods. And some ready made subs/sandwiches and salads.”

“I had to run into this Walmart in Coal Twsp. It was clean, well stocked, busy and yet I was in and out in 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the store was. With the amount of people inside things are usually all out of place and items just thrown around where they don't belong.”

“This was to be a 4 star rating, needed to edit for it somehow posted as just 3. Anyway, 4 stars based on the parking area, fuel island and the entrance. I can tell who the regulars are by their caution when pulling in. Some idiot just about ran me over as I was walking back to the pump. She was in such a rush to get that 1 of the 3 open spaces in front of the store, that she failed to see directly in front of her. And I thought my days of moving quickly were long gone...
The associates are all GREAT!! I don't live far from this store so I'm there often and I have yet to see any of the employees being anything other than cheerful, as opposed to just about every other store. Obviously the Kulpmont location has a secret, lol.”
