“My wife and I are originally from the coal region and currently live in NC. Every time we come back to visit family and friends, we load up the cooler with great meats, cheese, and other coal region favorites that we can't get down south. The staff is very attentive and friendly.”
“Everyone is very kind. Food is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. They continue to have fun and exciting new things to try. There is always yummies for Dogs and cats! I am grateful to have such a wonderful local place to shop at!”

“Outstanding staff working politely amongst a busy Aldi.
I always shop at W Haz. & Buckhorn Bloom they have ample self checkout. Honestly you had ample cashiers no difference in check out time and friendlier. Not too shabby”
“Deb's pizza is really good. The pretzel stand has a variety of pretzels and drinks. It is hard to find parking but worth going. Best to go after 10 to find a parking spot.”
“Excellent customer service! I picked up my order on Friday, and unfortunately I received the wrong pizza. I called to let them know what happened and they had the right pizza delivered quickly to my door! I was very impressed and appreciated the quick response to make things right.”
“I just had two fresh fruit trays made and I've never tasted pineapple, cantaloupe and grapes that sweet!!!! Well done! The fruit trays disappeared immediately..so delicious & sweet!!”
“This seems to me like a good, solid, well-organized gas station with a selection of car washing tools and fluids available for customers’ convenience and desired needs. Another good place for Shamokin residents to receive gas, honestly, doesn’t really provide me a lot to write home about. You can judge it for your own benefit.”

“This is a great place to buy stuff in bulk. They have large bags of stuff that a lot of the local businesses use, like French fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, hot cheese cubes (my personal favorite) and soooooo much more...they also get some really good ice cream. Staff is always very polite, professional and helpful....and they're always very sweet to my children.”
“Always a friendly bunch, one of the more roomy stores too. Never overcrowded with less then desirable people too!Always accommodating with FedEx stuff, a huge help as there isn't any locations for certified drop off in the area”
“Was at this beautiful store today. The manager Jillian was a great help with all of my needs. One of the neatest and cleanest stores I have been in. Keep up the amazing work team.”
“It's a Dollar General ... Aisles blocked with carts of boxes waiting to be put on shelves, a produce section that could be mistaken for my composting pile ... Still, pleasant staff, lower prices than competitors, convenient. I'll keep shopping here.”
“I love the people there my name is Gabby I go there a lot and I am 14 and I see nothing wrong with them they are all friendly and sweet and even sometimes if I don't have enough the one really sweet tall guy will help pay for it I really love this turkey hill”
“Anything I need he knows where to get it. He’ll order it for me. They’re very organized very kind, caring easy-going. I love the fact that it stays open until 10. Unlike other stores that close early.I’m”
“The first time I visited this supermarket I was delighted with the low prices they offer, plus everything was well organized and clean and the service was excellent, so much so that it became one of my favorites, I always visit it and make all my purchases here.”

“super clean store, always well stocked, pleasant attentive staff, no need to wait for a cashier ( like almost all other local DG's ). Store is a very new build, with ample parking and easy to navigate. Great location right on 61, near the rt 54 junction.”
“Very clean store, tons of things that is advertised, do yourselves a favor though and don't listen to Any reviews from Local Traveler aka John Jadus of Marion Heights, he's been going around Local businesses and leaving 1 star reviews for attention and stealing pictures off other reviews like Ashland pizza and using them as his own.”

“I stop at Mount Carmel Turkey hill daily. They do a good job and they are usually stocked up pretty good. Kudos to people who are in customer service, they deal with some pretty shifty people. I stopped going in at the wee morning hours when I go to work but overall they have nice staff and a clean store.”

“Fast service, variety of selections. Great place for a quick bite and to refill on gas. Open 24/7 which is the best wheelchair accessible. Credit, debit,EBT etc accepted”
“Great staff, always clean. Even though there’s not a lot of pumps for gas it doesn’t take long to have access to a pump. It’s a great spot to stop on your way to Knoebels, there is a bathroom located inside and of course for those who enjoy a nice cold refreshing beer they have an area for it including tables for you to sit down and take a drink. The bathroom is a great size bigger than most Turkey hills.”
“Good place to shop. Quick, hometown appeal. Friendly staff. Great sales. The downfall is that not all stores carry the same items. Another negative is that this location doesn't have the specialty case. The speciality case has fresh desserts. The other Boyers in Mt.Carmel,Pottsville and Frackville all have it. They offer these AMAZING PEANUT BUTTER BALLS!!! YOU GOTTA TRY THEM!!!??❣️”
“Rory was awesome at the store today. When I asked him if he could get an item I couldn't reach, he immediately came over and helped me out. His friendly attitude and quick assistance really made my day. Thanks a lot, Rory.”
“This is the place to find stuff for every member of the family, and it's easy to find them by visiting every section. The best thing is to plan to go on a weekday and keep in mind how much time you want to spend in the store.”

“Your average ordinary gas station/quick mart. Gas prices vary too much, too often to comment on. The usual coffee, tea, soda, water, and soft drinks. Hot dogs on rollers with all the condiments. General car care products like oil. A small selection of tools. Some everyday household items and office supplies. Snacks, cereals, and boxed goods. And some ready made subs/sandwiches and salads.”

“I had to run into this Walmart in Coal Twsp. It was clean, well stocked, busy and yet I was in and out in 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the store was. With the amount of people inside things are usually all out of place and items just thrown around where they don't belong.”
“Love going there the people that work there always help us with anything we need. With no attitude... Can't ask for a better place. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen”
“This was to be a 4 star rating, needed to edit for it somehow posted as just 3. Anyway, 4 stars based on the parking area, fuel island and the entrance. I can tell who the regulars are by their caution when pulling in. Some idiot just about ran me over as I was walking back to the pump. She was in such a rush to get that 1 of the 3 open spaces in front of the store, that she failed to see directly in front of her. And I thought my days of moving quickly were long gone...
The associates are all GREAT!! I don't live far from this store so I'm there often and I have yet to see any of the employees being anything other than cheerful, as opposed to just about every other store. Obviously the Kulpmont location has a secret, lol.”
