“We got a flat tire while site seeing, and visiting Lancaster. There were torrential storms roads closed trees down, and somehow another. We could not find anyone to help us. Jack was absolutely amazing! He and his team helped me with not only figuring out that the tire was actually shot, but put the spare room for us wrapped up the old tire and really helped us out tremendously.”
“I thought I wrote a review before but it may have disappeared. This has been my shop of choice for the past 3 years. Not only are the prices reasonable but the mechanics and front desk guy know their stuff.
On many occasions they’ve helped me find reasonably priced tires in the area, worked with me on inspection requirements, changed my oil quickly, and most recently caught a “recall” on my transmission for the model of my car in which I was able to go to the dealership and get it replaced/fixed at no cost.
Good people, good shop, and will continue to go back. Keep up the great work you guys.”

“Thank goodness for Kenny and the Mavis crew! Our car died a few blocks from this magical place (and at least 2 hours from our home) leaving us all out of sorts. Kenny got us a jump, walked us through our options, made a bunch of phone calls on our behalf (even though it was the end of a very long day) and got us sorted out and back on the road. All while being super helpful and an absolute mensch! The whole crew was fantastic and I literally can’t thank them enough!”

“The guys working in the tire department are fantastic they earned the 5 stars! The problem is…they also have to work the front desk AND handle all propane sales and fill ups. This has them running all over the place dealing with way too much. Even with that, they still had my tires installed as quickly as they could.
Lancaster BJ’s should really look into hiring an additional person to handle the front desk and the propane, so these guys can do their actual jobs and install tires!”

“I’ve had a fantastic experience with this location. Ordered tires, they called to schedule an appointment once they came in, and took about 1.5 hours on a busy Sunday to get in and out. Knowledgeable and friendly staff - and Costco stands by what they sell! It’s a no-brainer to get the tires here if they’re available. 2nd one I’ve gotten at Costco. My only gripe is I wish they had wheel-alignment service as well!”
“First and foremost this place should get more then 5 stars. beides their excellent service, they come through when you need them. For example, today my girlfriend locked her keys in her the car. she walked up to McCoy Automotive. She told them what happened and no questions asked, A worker name Colin jumped, took my down to my car and got my car unlock no question, no problem and did it and real good time in like ten minutes. I recommend this place to anybody!!!!”
“I would like to recognize Anthony, Service Mgr, and Arlo, Technician, at Plaza Blvd Lancaster PA location. We had a nail in the sidewall of a rental car tire, 9 hours from home. Both guys were so helpful and accommodating to us. They even stayed beyond closing time to take care of us! We cannot thank them enough for their care.”

“I got an appointment sooner than I expected. The work was completed faster than I expected. Everyone was pleasant and informative. They accommodated my desire not to leave the car for the day. This location is downtown so there are plenty of places within walking distance to pass the time.
On 7-31-2026, I got my state inspection done. Amy went above and beyond. Although I was late for the appointment, she and Shawn managed to get my car back to me a half hour earlier than I expected.”
