“My husband got subs from here from a work fundraiser and they were the best pretzel sandwiches and subs we ever had. Super fresh so now when we make a trip to Wrightsville, we stop in for their subs and sandwiches.”
“I've loved shopping at Forry's Country Store for over 20 years. The customer service is excellent, the products are fresh, and the deli meat and cheeses' prices are much cheaper than the large supermarkets' prices.
I like the prepared food variety and Forry's carries well known brands like Spring Glen, Sadie's, and Fishers.

“Might be a silly review, but the ladies who work at the market are so incredibly sweet. This was my first time running into the store, I needed matches. I had such an embarrassing moment of misplacing my debit card, and being a few cents short. A kind lady spot me the 5 cents. A moment I felt embarrassed and fumbling around for loose change for something so simple, turned into a few friendly laughs. I will be back again, next time for candles and other local goodies. This store also smells AMAZING.”
“I am glad I can still get 50 lb. bags of rolled oats for my wallabies here. On the other hand, they no longer sell my favorite form of chocolate, Chocolate Fruit Basket. Please join me in asking them to bring this item back!”
“I’ve been shopping at Stauffers of Kissel Hill for several years now, and it’s my go-to spot for quality groceries. I usually stop in for their produce, deli lunch meats, poultry, seafood, and baked goods—and they consistently deliver. I also found out that SKH is the only supermarket around that sells the Boulder cut of beef, which I use for my shredded beef, so that alone keeps me coming back.
Their deli has a wide variety of lunch meats and cheeses, and everything is always fresh and well stocked. I’m a big fan of their seafood department too—the fresh fish and shellfish are top-notch. As for the bakery, in my opinion, SKH has the best-tasting pumpkin pie in all of Lancaster, PA.
While their prices are definitely higher than other supermarkets, I honestly think it’s worth it because of the quality and wide selection they offer across the board. Stauffers of Kissel Hill is my number one supermarket, and I recommend it to everyone.”
“Gas is so much cheaper than other close gas stations around. You have to be a member, but the plus side is they do certain deals, and if you buy the item that shows a gas pump, it takes additional money off at the pumps. The only downfall is if you filled up elsewhere and then shop there, you can't use the gas reward coupons because your car is already full. It's hit or miss with having to get gas, and when you need to shop, because sometimes we blow through gas and you never know when the coupons come etc.”
“Love Grannie's grocery. I've been shopping here since 1995 when I lived in my first apartment in Conestoga so it was nice & convenient I'd stop on my way home from work. Watch the expiration dates. Grannie's always stocks about 5 varieties of fresh block cheeses like Heidi Anne Lacy swiss, sharp cheddar, Munster, etc. which come in handy for diy charcuterie boards for parties! On today's visit they had fresh produce, dairy case including 5+ flavors of homemade whole milk yogurt, Turkey Hill and Swiss drinks, frozen foods case {including name brand froz. vegetables, ice cream, french fries & pizza snacks}, sliced deli meats & cheeses, snacks, chips, beverages, juice boxes, sports drinks, cases 16.9 oz spring water, huge selection of canned foods (fruit, vegs, soup, Alfredo and red pasta sauces, tomato {sauce, puree, diced}, canned pinto, black, Lima, kidney beans, canned mushrooms; health & beauty products including hair color, girls & women's hair accessories, hairbrushes, combs, cosmetics; Styrofoam plates & bowls, paper plates & bowls, plastic utensils, Solo brand cups, plastic wraps, foil, tp, paper towels, deep dish 13x9 foil pans 75c each, extra large foil lasagne pans, facial tissue, baking aisle including oil, flour, sugar, extracts, cake and brownie mixes, name brand cereal aisle including oatmeal and cream of wheat, cookies, crackers; dog food, wet and dry cat food, name brand wet cat food 10/$3, dry cat food 14 lb/$11.59, cat litter 20 lb/$7. Outdoor bird food.”
“Great little bargain store! I can see now that the parking lot is always full since people are grapping the sales! There's everything with low prices to stock the fridge/freezer and pantry plus decor items for the home. Weekly bargains so run by to see if something goes on sale.”

“One of my favorite stores, even though I now drive an hour to get to the one in Lancaster. Staff is very friendly, produce, desserts and sea food are great. I miss the food bars, though. They shut them down during the pandemic and never reopened. Same with their restaurant.”

“I absolutely love this place! Everything is always fresh and the frozen things are just as good heating them up at home! Their baked goods are delicious and they always have a nice variety! The ladies that work there are always so cheerful! They have a nice variety of bulk candy which my Granddaughter loves to browse through. I look forward to my weekly visit! Ya gotta try the Turkey chili too!! Prices are always reasonable”

“I was a Bj's member for 35 years and enjoyed the stores products and prices. After moving I went there less and less often to the point of this year when I cancelled the membership. Having auto-renewal something went wrong and I was incorrectly charged. I sent a note to Capital One (who administered the financing and credit) however it was ignored and then the debt fees and interests compiled to where the amount owed was now DOUBLE the yearly renewal fee! I figured I better bite the bullet because in today's world it seems like corporations take advantage of the customer. I wrote a nasty email to BJ's. To my surprise Stella (and on last email Keith) took it upon themselves to right the situation and I was replenished the full amount (late fees, penalty and interest). I feel that was such excellence in support I had to come up here and write a review. Thx very much! Ted Dezso”

“Best corner store. Great food menu, reasonable prices, and the service is always pleasant. Coming from Jersey to PA was a change (good & bad) this corner store gives me a piece of the good, having that Papi (Jersey/NY) corner store kind of vibe (if you know you know). Lastly, the beef and cheese empanadas are amazing, my family moved far outside of the city but my children never miss an opportunity in ask to take the ride for their favorite empanadas.”
“I love shopping at Wegmans. I find items that I can't find in other grocery stores. BEEF back ribs are hard to find, Wegmans sells them. The product I enjoy the most is the Kimmelwek rolls.”

“Stop by here frequently for simple grocery items (milk, bananas, cereal). Essentials are pricey, but it's a good in a pinch, and I don't mind supporting a neighborhood small business. The empanadas are the real gem of this spot, however. Delicious & very affordable.”

Good looking selection otherwise. Lastly, the owner was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend stopping in. I should go earlier for beef patties.”
