“Title: "Lackluster Experience at Lily Inn, Burlington NJ"Our stay at Lily Inn in Burlington, NJ, left much to be desired. To start, there was no one available to greet us upon arrival, setting a disappointing tone for the entire visit. The services provided were subpar, and to make matters worse, the promised breakfast was nowhere to be found.Even basic amenities like assistance with using the TV, cable, and internet were lacking, and the staff failed to offer adequate guidance. What's more frustrating is that despite being assured by the staff that I would receive a refund due to the shortage of personnel, no such reimbursement was ever provided. In conclusion, my experience at Lily Inn was marked by a lack of service, missing amenities, and unfulfilled promises. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment, and I personally will not be returning. Best of luck to anyone considering a stay here.I am hoping this will be used for constructive criticism.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.”

“When I walked into the Buck Hotel, my family and I were pleasantly greeted. We were seated quickly. As we walked, I asked about an area and the hostess offered to see us there. The servers were friendly, the food portions were generous and so delicious. I will definitely return to the Buck Hotel.”

“We really enjoyed our stay.PRO: Loved having the hot tub & fireplace. The double shower head walk in was huge, and I liked it has a door. Room was spacious and clean (even under UV light.) Great location with lots to do. Great privacy.CON: You can tell the rooms are older & could use some minor improvements (loose, hanging recessed light. Fridge door seal was broken and didn’t shut - we just put something up against it. TV remote was broken). Note: I didn’t take time to report any of these because they were minor inconveniences & I was busy enjoying my stay.Nearby activities: Check out Bury The Hatchett Axe throwing and get the premium package. Tons of fun!Food & drinks: Metro Diner within in walking distance and always delicious.”

“Clean room and large desk. When I have to take work to the hotel and have dinner while I catch up or get ahead of things, it’s great having a large workspace and not feel crowded aFood & drinks: Full pantry in lobby”

“My first stay was great and my second visit was horrible. My suite I rented with double beds... the first bed was extremely nasty. My tub jets were broken. When we went to lay in the first bed this is what we saw. I was given gloves and new linens and told sorry it would be noted....Rooms: Check out the rooms top to bottom”

“Stayed for one night. I’m not sure why some of the reviews are so bad, but here are the pros and cons.Pros: the hotel itself is spacious and clean. The lobby not only has cookies, but also had a hot chocolate bar, fruit infused water, and chicken teriyaki and egg rolls. The front desk was friendly and nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, clean, and had plenty of towels. The fitness center is spacious with lots of equipment.Cons: the rooms do need a little maintenance. My bathroom ceiling had some water and paint issues and the water pressure was not good. I was originally in a room that had a fly and stink bug. Then I noticed the telephone wasn’t even plugged in, and there was no cable, so I couldn’t get in touch with the front desk without going down or through the app. There was definitely one room that was smoking up a storm with marijuana. Also, only one elevator was working, but there’s only four floors. The craziest thing that happened was that I had to switch rooms because of the fly in the room. I was woken up at 7am from the room upstairs dropping things randomly and walking so heavily my bed was shaking. After calling to the front desk, they kindly called the room and also confirmed the guest was “dropping things on the floor” and compensated me.Overall it’s a good place to stay but with some considerations.”

“Free breakfast, pool, and Jacuzzi. Free hot beverage machine in lobby. Rooms are ok. Front desk staff is undesirable. Constantly missing luggage carousels.I came here to leave a review for the housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast staff. They offer make your own waffles, juices, yogurt parfait station, eggs, meat, potatos, and breads. They offer cereals and milks. They also have a toasting machine. Rosy and her girls go above and beyond. The housekeeping girls are amazing too. They offer breakfast with your stay from early morning till about 9. The girls are friendly, polite, and provide great service. We are staying for a long time. So we are seeing staff on a daily basis.Rooms: Average.Nearby activities: Not sureSafety: The facility feels pretty safe.Walkability: Walking distance from many restaurants and shopping. Hair Cuttery. Gas station. Highways. Pool tables, pubs.Food & drinks: Food is always well stocked, clean, fresh and a variety.”

“No one working front desk during breakfast. Laundry was expensive and they don’t have quarters on site, no quarter machine either. Libby bathroom had poop on the toilet and the women’s bathroom smelled as if someone left a dump in there for a few days. Disgusting. Way over priced.”

“Stayed for just one night with my brother who is disabled. I asked for a first floor room since he is a smoker and would be going out front to smoke a few times during the day, just to make it easier for him to come back and forth to the room. Room was ok. Microwave, small fridge, desk and swivel chair, another single chair with an ottoman, small coffee maker with tea bags, coffee pods, packs of sugar and dry creamer. Everything was in working order. There was traffic noise, but what do you expect, you're on a major highway. Breakfast was good. Sausage, cheese eggs, hot and cold cereal, waffles you can make yourself, juice, coffee, tea etc. Friendly staff. It's not the best place I have stayed at, and it's not the worst. Only issue I had was when I wanted to charge my phone that had 45% charge left. It was plugged in ALL NIGHT(7 HOURS) and only charged up to 87%. Usually my phone will give me a full charge within an hour.”

“I like the hotel, the guy who was working on the reception on the day of my check-in, he was very friendly. Now the girl who worked on Saturday night is not friendly at all. and the girl who was there on my check-out day, early on Sunday, she was also nice to me.”

“The hotel part was built in 1763. The restaurant, Roccos, is newer. The bar elegant. Food isn't cheap but not overpriced. I had honey glazed salmon with creamed leeks. My wife had a lobster roll. The wine list is solid. I've read some negative reviews, we found no mold, the bathrooms were updated with plenty of hot water. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Yes, in the hall part of the wallpaper was a little messed up, but nothing egregious. It is worth the price. The location is great in the town of Newtown. Easy walk to other restaurants, stores, and a small intimate cigar lounge. Washington's Crossing is close as are several wineries.”

“I am disgusted by the room and customer service provided by this location. When entering the room, it had a bad smell, which I figured it was probably a smoking room, I was not going to complain, and just proceeded to Lysol, as I do with any hotel/ By the time I got to the rest room area to Lysol, I was presented with a very disgusting restroom, there was feces coated in the entire perimeter of the toilet bowl as if it was stuck there for days. I went to contact the front, and their phone had no phone line. and no buttons on the phone, and called via my cellphone. The associate proceeded to tell me there were no other rooms, and I asked if I could have room service, and he informed me that there is not room service that works at night. Terrible service, terrible experience!”
