My wife and I are in the middle of our PCS from JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and we were assigned Reads Moving Systems for our pack-out.
The crew showed up right on time at 0800, introduced themselves, walked through the house with us, and got straight to work.
The biggest relief was that they actually asked questions instead of making assumptions. They wanted to make sure they understood exactly what should and shouldn't be packed, which immediately gave us confidence.
They worked incredibly fast, but never at the expense of quality. My wife and I were honestly amazed at how carefully everything was wrapped, how organized they kept the boxes, and the attention they gave to protecting our belongings.
One thing that really stood out was how considerate they were of our newborn daughter. They noticed when she was sleeping and intentionally worked on the opposite side of the house to keep the noise down as much as possible. It wasn't something we asked them to do—it was simply a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us as new parents.
They absolutely knocked it out of the park.

“I hired Hammers to move a very large home (3800 Sq Ft) about 50 miles from our new home which was half the size and everything was perfect. From the estimate given by the owner to Angel and his teams on both ends of the move. The team was courteous, masked, efficient and treated everything with respect. We had moved from NJ to PA just 6 years prior with about 75% of the stuff we now had and that move took twice as long to complete so "kudos" to the team at Hammers for a job well done. I mean the owner not only stuck to his estimate which was way less than some others I received, he didn't charge me for holding our stuff for 6 days and gave us use of 12 Garment boxes ! “I recently used Allied Van Lines (Telford, PA) to move my daughter from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Gillette, Wyoming, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
Moving halfway across the country is stressful, especially when you’re helping your child relocate to a new state, but the Allied team made the entire process smooth and worry-free. From the initial coordination through delivery, communication was excellent, timelines were met, and every member of the crew was professional, courteous, and hardworking.
What impressed me most was the care they took with my daughter’s belongings. Everything arrived safely after traveling nearly 1,800 miles, and the delivery team was just as attentive and professional as the crew that loaded the truck. They treated her possessions as if they were their own.

However, I was very disappointed to receive an unexpected $214 charge for setting two TVs back on the same stands they removed them from but customer service acted promptly and I got a refund for that extra expense. The company handle the issue very professionally with great customer service and support.”
“I took my Cybertruck to get a trailer to haul a Ryobi electric riding mower with lithium ion batteries. Bragging. Bruce at the counter knew his stuff. He knew the mower would fit. Fixed me up with a good trailer hitch ball and hooked up the electric to the trailer. This was not his first rodeo. Hey Bruce good job.

Our belongings were well cared for.nNOTHING broke and we have a LOT of glass collectibles2. The estimate accurately captured the services we needed. The estimate was about $400 more than the services provided. So we paid less than the estimate.3. The staff were carful and gentle. Shout out to Tyrone who helped us pack.
