Beautiful space, warm and welcoming community, skillful teachers, satellite classes in Collingswood NJ and Bryn Mawr, retreats and workshops, and invaluable teachings by Buddha presented for the modern life. There hasn’t been one class that I have attended, where I haven’t walked away without wisdom to help train my mind for anything that life throws at me. If you are curious, do yourself a favor and drop in for a Sunday class, you will set yourself up for a much more peaceful week!”
“We will miss Father ChrisMy husband graduated from St Raymond’s school in 1962 and we were married there in 1973. Father Chris is amazing, and we enjoy attending Mass online just to hear his inspiring sermons. He has done so much for the parish and it’s upsetting that church policy will not allow him to remain there. We can easily follow him to St Cecilia’s online but the local parish cannot. I know that the church community is strong and they will survive but it will not be the same without Father Chris.”
“If you have a petition in your heart, or just need a space in solitude to pray, go visit, St Rita Shrine in Philadelphia. The shrine opens at 9:00 am. You can sense the sacredness once you walk into lower church. St Rita is known for the impossible prayers. Bring your prayers and petitions. There are confessionals during the day. The shrine has a gift shop on the premises. A young man by the name Michael is there to assist you with any questions. He is friendly and knowledgeable. ?P.S. “Good Afternoon Google Family. I enjoyed my experience at Bethany yesterday. My sister friend, Yolanda, invited me to an event. The event was a Women's Day event in advance of Women's Day. It was a panel discussion talking about relationships and community ties. I was so blessed and I participated in the panel discussions. I felt so encouraged and inspired when I left. I reconnected with a sister friend who I had not seen in years. It was so good to see her and I met her mother. I love how God puts the right people in your life at the right time. “Came in last year to witness my husband's confirmation ceremony, which he got his Buddhist name. The people were more than welcome to me. Made me feel part of their group, spoke to me with a welcoming smile , I felt their warm welcoming and true auras while speaking to me. Very friendly too. The ceremony was beautiful and breathtaking. Just amazing! I'm not part of this beautiful group but i fully support my husband joining it. I have seen what the members and center have done for my husband. He is more relaxed and less stressed. The members are wonderful!”
