“Me and my mom visited this place today to buy household items for my new apt I’m moving in and one of the employees (Selda) offered help to us and made sure we got everything we needed. Right from the start, she graciously offered her assistance and went above and beyond to ensure we found everything we needed. Selda's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home, and her guidance throughout our visit was invaluable. Without a doubt, she is the epitome of a wonderful store employee. “This is one of the few stores left in the plaza in which it is located, it is a bit run down but they still have the same type of stuff in the store as they always have had, now that "Giant Eagle" is gone and if they no longer have any issues with having freezers in the store because of it, they should get some freezers and have frozen foods and items available”

“The Big Lots stores in Pittsburgh (Moon twp.) and in Fairmont , WV are both wonderful. Finding deals and fun items with wonderful and helpful employees. HOWEVER...PLEASE NOTE: THE ONE IN Bridgeport, WV....local to me....is horrible. Items not stocked well and absolutely rude employees! As a disabled woman I went up to the counter when there was no one in line and they forced me to walk around the entire display area before I was allowed to check out! The rudeness continued during the checkout purchase. I may be disabled...but I am an RNC PhD x2 and own a jewelry and specialty gift shop for over 22 years.! I would never treat anyone....even a homeless person the way I was treated here! Considering filing a state complaint! Sad , because the other 2 stores are wonderful and a pleasure to shop in!”

“Although the layout of most Dollar Generals is the same, the employees in this store, are exceptional. I went into get a few things on my way home and the employees were friendly, hard working and provided great customer service. Even with the pandemic, the store was very clean and sanitized and employees wore face masks like we should or at least be considerate of each other and just stay home. Gave 100% customer service.”

“Hadn't been for awhile, so decided to check it out. Was disappointed to see a lot more furniture...assumes this means this Big Lots will end up the same way the one in Aliquippa is -all furniture. Right now they still have grocery items and normal department store-type items. If they keep them, I'll keep going. If they move to all furniture, I'm sure they'll end up like every other furniture store in the area...bankrupt and closed.”

“Nice people work here. I shop here because it is easy to get to for me. Amazing prices. The toy section could have a better selection, but it was still a nice selection for all ages. School supplies, cleaning supplies, a quick TV dinner and a few more for the deep freezer?. Cups, plates, cutlery, party stuff, candy, you name it they have it in some form. These places really are great. So what if the product isn't always the greatest? Remember, you paid a dollar and some change for it. At least you still got something right? Anyways, rant over. Great places, nice workers, you should definitely check them out if you are in the area!”

“I really like this store, I find all sorts of things and the price is right! Most items are $5 or less, some are up to about $10 and they have everything from seasonal items to items for dorm rooms, think baskets and pillows, clothing mostly geared towards teens and young adults, books and my favorite, items for phones and other music/tech gadgets. I have found all sorts of things to use for my phone, mp3 player, etc that was much cheaper than anyplace else. This is a great place to find all sorts of things and wonderful for stocking stuffers, small gifts, and replacement items and backups for common items you may use. Worth checking out! Please note this store is now located in the cranberry mall”

“I actually like this store it's very convenient and everything location put the sad part and unfortunately it seems the Dollar tree in Crafton has more selection and cheaper selections than the Dollar general for some odd reason their fridges are broke their freezers are broke at the Dollar general the prices are more than Dollar tree and they have less stuff than the Dollar tree unfortunately and it seems the only time that the women that work at the Dollar general we're always in a rush to close early and other than that I feel that all the workers at the Dollar general are underpaid specially for everything they have to do and deal with the same with the Dollar tree because I've work at Dollar tree in the past and they're definitely under paid for all the BS they deal with”

Thankfully, most products still are inexpensive.I browsed this store’s holiday decorations, hygiene products, cleaning products, pet supplies, office supplies, snack foods, etcetera. I saw brand names and generic names. I noticed that unopened boxes cluttered the aisles.I picked several products to buy. The cashier promptly and accurately scanned my products and processed my payment. I appreciated that he said hello, thank you, and good day.”
