MOTORHOME, 1987 HOLIDAY/ RAMBLER, IMPERIAL 37', FORD 390 ENGINE (GAS), last of the ones with excellent woodwork, HAVE seen many H/R's since, absolutely HAVEN'T found any, that come CLOSE to my 87 IMPERIAL 37' NONE, ENGINE STOPPED 3 BLOCKS,, TOW TRUCK SHOWED UP, couldn't START ENGINE, BATTERY WAS DEAD, WORKMAN TOOK IT OUT, DROVE ME & Battery back to. My house Placed battery into my car, which proved it was dead, thru a charge on , and used car next day.., but only until sunset , as my diesel wasn't charging, COULDN'T PLACE GEAR LEVER IN NEUTRAL, ASSUMED ENGINE WAS SEIZED, DISCONNECTED DRIVESHAFT, TOWED to impound lot where it sat for 63days,while I slept in my car..(as i was transferring my stuff from a closed house to the RV.) WOUND UP HOMELESS, , 86 YEARS OLD, SEVERE GUM LOSS,FALSE TEETH NOT CUTTING,NEED NEW DENTURES, CAN'T CHEW FOOD, MEAT, BREAD, SALADEs,(CAR STILL barely RUNNING), in Hospital with Severe malnutrition,chronic kidney disease, COPD, then placed in rehab where abuse & neglect are RAMPET,THEN HE THEAllens have been most accommodating, when Government agencies , Camp grounds,local laws, (lack of accommodation etc,)ALLANS (THRU THE KINDNESS, CARE of LELA, were the FIRST & ONLY BUSINESSES , GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY'S THAT WERE WILLING (or able) TO HELP & ACCOMODATE ME.THE D 1”
