I went to the store once when I was in the Harrisburg area and got jollof rice and goat meat, it is one of the best jollof rice I have had till date. It was delicious.

“I went there for a plant sale, ended the day buying 13 plants including 9 different amazing mints, then got the BEST PEANUT BUTTER EVER at the self serve machines (coolest invention ever 😂), and bought a few Beef tallow skin products. I highly recommend going to Leg Up market because I am still blown away by the excellent quality of every single item I bought. Thank you Louis and family, what a true American Gem you have built!”

today was nine items total: ground beef, two bunches of broccolini, a yellow onion, two russet potatoes, a bag of mushrooms, a bell pepper, two garlic pesto pasta salads, and shredded cheese. came out to $39.95 total.
for context, that’s the kind of basket that usually creeps way higher at bigger stores like Giant Food, Weis Markets, or even Wegmans Food Markets depending on what’s in it. especially with pre-made items and meat in the mix.
what makes it noticeable isn’t just “cheap,” it’s that the produce doesn’t feel like it’s already on a countdown. mushrooms and potatoes actually hold up after you get home, not something you’re rushing to use same day.

“One of my fav’s to shop at. BUT the deli’s employees like to hide in the back - don’t want to wait on customers. Last time I was there, the line and people waiting to be helped was about 100 of us. I called the front desk. The nice lady was back there in no time and got on their asses. Thank you for that.”

“Aldi offers excellent discount supermarket prices. Earlier today, I purchased a Nutribullet to make smoothies. Aldi has a nice variety of frozen fruit affordably priced. I also like Aldi Italian sparkling water. Finally, one gallon of spring water is only $1.35.
There is a cashier, but the self-checkout makes checking out and bagging the items you purchased easy.”

“I’m going to start with the service which is phenomenal by the way! These people really care about the community! Such kind and generous owners and employees! They have cooked food in the backed (rice, beans, chicken, beef, burgers….) along with cold cut sandwiches and subs. And the prices are honestly unbelievable and the cheapest around. My family and I have been going here for years and will go here for as long as they are open ❤”

“Kristen from the dairy department went above and beyond helping me today. I was struggling to find a coconut milk based yogurt due to my sensitivity to milk. I recently bought my usual coconut milk based yogurt and discovered it was spoiled. I didn't want to exchange for the same product because I was worried about the same outcome. She not only allowed me to test the same product but after discovering the ones available were also spoiled, she personally showed me over to an organic cashew and coconut milk based yogurt and allowed me to ensure that this product wasn't spoiled. “Has everything you'd expect or need for stopping at a gas station. Plus some niche things you won't find at a rutters or other gas stations. My go to for little things and cigarettes because of locality, but also because I like the staff. Not a bad place to have to stop for gas or something to eat.”
