Book Stores
“What a truly lovely bookstore! We enjoyed exploring the house converted into a bookstore, including wandering upstairs where more bookish treasures awaited us! All of the staff I talked to were friendly and helpful! A truly fantastic experience!”
“My wife had been here with a friend and we were in town this weekend so we went. It's a great place!! Fantastic selection of books!! My wife is collecting old editions of Nancy Drew books and I discovered some she needed that had not yet been priced. The owner was out of town...WAY out of town. In New Zealand! Weidler took photos of the books she wanted and sent them to the owner. The next day she got a call that the books were now hers. And the price was REALLY good. That kind of customer is rare...but not at this store. Worth a day trip for book fiends!”
“This is a good, Christian bookstore. Wide array of books from Anabaptist publishers. Also a nice amount of used books on a large range of subjects. Nonfiction, fiction, classics, inspirational.”
“My favorite place to thrift! The employees and volunteers are so so nice! Sometimes the prices are a tad high for some things though. Over all...im a weekly shopper!”
“This place is awesome for toys. I never knew they were so big into toys but wow! They have almost as much lego as a Lego store and different sets. Also a top notch book store. Will probably be the only place I will toy shop for my kids”
“Love the store, but definitely make sure you have a large purse or a shopping bag already with you because they don't offer plastic bags and only offer reusable totes for purchase.”
“Got some cool old books and some classics at their library book sale. Nice people working there who are willing to help and sell you a weird item that you don't know what it is but you're gonna use it as a headphone stand.”
“They have a really nice selection of cute, inexpensive, and wholesome books for little kids. Also homeschool curriculum such as Rod and Staff, shape note singing workbooks for children, and lots of great math practice books we use over the summer.”
“They have a decent selection of Christian books. They only take cash - but it is by donation. Since they get the left overs and overstock, the selection changes regularly.”
“Much variety. Had a good tour and my questions answered. They refilled the sale box out front. Spent $100 but saved $50; got all Christmas shopping done in one place. Nice people. Check it out!”
“Very cozy bookstore that carries an amazing variety of books, including used books. Staff was great and I found so much I wasn't even looking for. Can't wait to visit again!”
