“EXCEPTIONAL. EVERYONE should know about this place!
I will always take my bike here first for any service I really care about.
The moment I first started talking to James over the phone about my bike I could tell coming here was going to be a good experience, and boy was it ever!
I had major work done on the bike, on a bike most people were afraid to even touch (it's a 1999 REI Novara Arriba, with a mid drive motor conversion kit on it).
I wanted to install a new cassette, derailleur, shifter and chain.
James had the bike back to me in LESS THAN 24 HOURS and with all kinds of notes for me about it on little tweaks he did for me on top of that to really get that extra mile of performance out of it.
The bike rides BEAUTIFULLY now, and just in time for an epic 500 mile journey from New York to Vermont.
I feel I'm going into this trip with my bike in the best condition it's ever been in since it came to my family in the '90's.

“You never know what you will find in this store! Love it ! But to shop here, you first need to volunteer 2.5 hours of your time working at the warehouse in Leola or stocking shelves in the Lancaster location. It definitely is worth it!”
“Highly recommended! Landis Valley Museum makes it feel like you're stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of American history. Several buildings, including the Tavern, the Blacksmith Shop, the Schoolhouse, the General Store, the Tin Shop and so many more to explore. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, making your experience educational and engaging. This was definitely worth the trip!”

Thank you for all that you do for Women and the community.”
“Not only did our family’s life change but especially the life of our son Quinn who as diagnosed as ASD Level 1 during his first grade year of school. We were struggling with the school to get services in place and felt like Quinn was missing out. Once Shelby Witmer became our educational advocate, we finally had people listening. She has teaching experience and a great deal of experience with children on the spectrum. She knows the law and she was always willing to guide me with how to approach certain issues and even let me know whether my requests were appropriate or not. Shelby would help me construct appropriate emails for my requests and once she became involved I went from being ignored by the school district to getting 5+ responses from people I had never heard from before. She’s helped to foster an amazing relationship between myself and my son’s team at school and I can’t imagine being where we are today without her. She has literally changed my son’s life for the better and helped him to succeed in a school situation where his potential could have been limited if she didn’t give me the guidance I needed to request the services he needed most.
We would recommend MHA of Lanc to anyone but especially our educational advocate Shelby. Words can’t express the gratitude we have for her.

“My client and I go there to volunteer. It is run by volunteers and run very smoothly. They have an amazing amount of supplies and for any girl scout leader or teacher.... This is the place to go,!
I also learned about their huge selection for teachers and scout leaders that they are allowed to sort through and then choose what they want and have it for free!”
“Marissa was wonderful. She knew each cats personalities and helped us pick the right cat. We adopted Gaby a older kitty that just came in. Bernie helped us today even though they were closed. They responded to phone calls promptly and were wonderful to deal with. I see some negative reviews and our experience was totally different. They have about 9 cats but are very focused on finding them the right homes. Cats are not TVs it takes a bit to find the right one for you and they were wonderful helping us do just that.”
“Love this place!! I've been a ReStore shopper for more than 20 years. The new store is beautiful and great parking lot too. The selection spectacular. I make it a point to stop here before going to the Big Box store. Last week I was able to cross an item off my shopping list when I found new Simpson ties at ReStore and saved $12.”
“I stayed at the mission when I moved from the state of Delaware almost two years ago. They got me back on my feet and closer to Christ. When I moved back to pa from Delaware I had to stay in a shelter till I got back on my feet. They were very welcoming to me helped me in everyway possible and I made a few friends there. I basically stayed to myself and focused on the important things.
