Concord Pet & Food Supplies
642 Lancaster Pike, FrazerConcord has a huge selection of basically everything. It is not the cheapest place, but quality food and treats cost more. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Everything I have looked for, I found it there. That is worth a slightly higher price also for one stop shopping. An example of slightly higher pricing: my dog eats Zignature Kangaroo food. Usually I pay $95 per bag. Concord sells it for approximately $4 more. I won't complain about that since I can also get my cat food and dove food in the same visit. The dog clothing is pretty expensive, but Amazon has spoiled us, Concord has a much higher quality product though.I'm glad I found them and will continue to enjoy their selection.

Pet Care

BluePearl Veterinary Cyberknife Cancer Center
50 Three Tun Rd, MalvernI can’t say enough about how well my cat, Sophie, was treated. She was very sick when we brought her in, and her emergency stay brought her back to health. She was there for 4 days, and couldn’t have gotten better care. Everyone was so kind from the minute we got there. A veterinarian called every day with an update. The cardiologist called to give us the final results of her tests. Everyone spent as much time with us as we needed, and was extremely kind. When she was being released, there were a lot of instructions, and someone spent an hour going over all the details with us. She even showed us how to order the supplements that Sophie was going to need. We would have been lost without that help. After she came home, I called with a question. I left a message, and someone got right back to me. She even asked me to call back to give an update. When we went back for her follow-up with the cardiologist, he spent as much time as we needed, explaining everything to us & answering all of our questions. Even though we have to drive several hours to get there, this is now the only place we’ll bring our animals for critical or specialty care.

Main Line Veterinary Hospital
245 Lancaster Ave, MalvernFrom the moment I initially reached out and spoke to Alexis, to my two visits, I have nothing but positive things to say about this practice.
On my first visit, I met with Dr. Marcie and Trevor. They were both so kind and gentle with my babygirl. Very personable and VERY knowledgeable/informative. I was also impressed with how quick Dr. Marcie read Duchess’ medical file which I provided right before the actual visit!
My follow up visit was with Dr. Lauren and Trevor and I have to say, I couldn’t be more impressed! Dr. Lauren has such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cats and their behaviors etc. Her and again Trevor’s gentle handling especially while trimming nails was exceptional!
As for the establishment, it is very clean and provides a tranquil environment for our fur babies. My little girl had very minimal anxiety and pretty much just wanted to explore the rest of the place.
Again, I cannot rave enough about my experiences and will gladly keep my girl under this practice’s care.
And yes, even she gets excited to go to the vet. Cat tax photos!

Veterinary Referral Center (VRC)
340 Lancaster Ave, MalvernDr Mason handled my baby, Nugget, with great care. We took him in for possible bloat and had called Poison Control prior to going in. He called them and spoke with them also, got the correct recommendations. He didn’t tell me unnecessary things to do, told me honestly what he would do if it was his pup and I was thankful for that. Even though I am a veterinary technician myself and have been for over 15 years, I was still very worried about my guy but he calmed my and my daughter’s worries. Thank you very much Dr Mason! Nugget is doing much better after having gone to the bathroom multiple times!!! Haha!!

Great Valley Pet Hotel
25 Davis Ave, MalvernMy dogs LOVE GVPH. They are always so excited to visit. I have used GVPH numerous times for daycare and boarding over the past two years and have nothing but good things to say about them. I know my boys are in good hands when they’re here. I have two very large very active dogs that need a lot of exercise. When trying to choose a place in the area I saw this place and liked the small business feel of it and the staff are so helpful and kind. We will continue using them for as long as we’re in the area.

The Malvern Mutt
33 W King St #514, MalvernI have used Alain’s services for nearly 6 years now. My 165 pound Pyrenees was everything to me, and his best friend on the planet was his walker Alain. Seeing the joy that my dog had every morning while the malvern mutt pulled into our driveway meant everything to me. Malvern mutt was and is always promt, extremely professional… Leaves great documentation and daily notes, and most importantly seemed to always be available when in need.
He truly loved my dog like his own, I would trust malvern mutt under any circumstance.

What a Good Dog LLC
295 Three Tun Rd, MalvernI’ve used What a Good Dog for Manners 1 and 2 with both of my golden retrievers, and I’ve always been so impressed with the entire staff. Every experience has been wonderful. Recently, I scheduled a private training lesson for my two-year-old golden retriever with Mary and Sam, and I truly couldn’t have better things to say about our time together. It was absolutely worth it.
From the very beginning, they took the time to observe and understand the dynamic between me and my dog — even down to watching him get out of the car. In just a short amount of time, they were able to read us so well and give incredibly helpful, thoughtful feedback on how to support his impulsiveness, keep him more engaged, and build a stronger connection during walks.
I’m a hands-on, visual learner, and they went above and beyond to teach and educate me on reactive behaviors, especially around pulling and jumping. They introduced us to the Gentle Leader, which has been absolutely game changing for our walks and has set both me and my dog up for so much more success.
My dog walker came to the session as well, and Mary and Sam were so patient, encouraging, and nonjudgmental with all of us. Their knowledge, calm energy, and willingness to explain the “why” behind everything made the entire experience truly outstanding.
I will definitely be booking another session in December or January and highly recommend working with Mary, Sam, and the entire What a Good Dog team.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Locust Lane Craft Brewery
50 Three Tun Rd Suite #4, MalvernI always love my experience at Locust Lane Brewery. They have a beer for every taste. They have a great outdoor patio where I’ve had birthday celebrations. I’ve worked with the manager, Tom, to plan surprise birthday parties for friends. I have attended several great events, including Oktoberfest, Pints for a Purpose, and the Phillies Watch Party (at the taproom). The bartenders are social and hard working. Epicurean Garage’s food never disappoints. And if you’re a coffee drinker, they have awesome Brazilian Roasted Beans. Highly recommend !

Pennsylvania Distilling Company
50 Three Tun Rd #3, MalvernJust attended a tasting. The proprietor / distiller is extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Apparently they are one of only two in the area that actually make their whiskies from the grains to the finished product. Generally very smooth drinking whiskies. Standouts were the bourbon and 2 char rye whiskey. Recommended.

Paw Prints Forever Pet Crematory
480 Lancaster Ave, MalvernNo one is ever ready to say goodbye to their fur babies. Our girl was almost 13 years old and being an RN, I knew when it was time to help her cross over so that she wouldn’t be in pain. I got the Paw Prints Forever phone number from my neighbor, who had to unfortunately put her dog to sleep a few weeks before.
My husband called Paw Prints and the process to set up a private, at home, euthanasia was simple. Within a day, they were able to send out an associate and veterinarian to help our girl cross over. They were on time, super professional (caring and education us on what to expect) and very gentle with our dog and with our feelings, allowing us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our girl. They cremated her and had her ashes ready for pick up in 30 hours even though it usually takes a week.
The whole process was gentle and I honestly believe it was more peaceful than I could have imagined. When you are losing a loved one, you want the process to be peaceful, especially when everything feels so sad, and PawPrints knew exactly how to take care of us and our dog so we all felt comfortable.
We picked out a beautiful urn for our girl and we would highly recommend them as a company to anyone who is going through end of life care with their fur babies.
Thank you Paw Prints. You made the process easy and comforting during such a difficult time.

Valley Hill Farm, LLC
1118 W Valley Hill Rd, MalvernDawn has a beautiful and super clean facility. Her prices are low compared with several other dog hotels in the area who up charge for every single thing. I love her outdoor enclosures. Tico has gone there for day care as well as overnight boarding. The inside sleeping quarters are larger than typical dog hotels.
