“Tons of inventory and comparable prices to chain stores. Some things may be a bit more expensive, but it's locally owned. I don't mind spending a dollar or two more when staples like dog and cat food are actually cheaper than Target or Tractor Supply. The older staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There is an army of teenagers that are nice, but don't always know the answers, but they free up the managers to answer questions and give advice.”
“The best shop for your canine pal! The owners, Cori and Becky, are SO sweet and helpful. They carry a very thoughtful variety of toys, treats, gear, and supplies for your best friend. It is always a delight to stop in to browse with your dog, and say hello to the very polite Miles, too :)”

“Service is top-notch. I had purchased a large dog crate that I never opened, well past any other stores return policy, but it was never opened. Braxtons returned without a question. As a purchaser of raw/frozen food for my standard, you must be very careful where you buy. If the raw food is not stored properly, your dog can get very sick. My standard has been sick 2x in her life and it was when I purchased raw at another store. Family owed business are the BEST! If prices are higher than other "chains," its worth the extra money for quality and service!”
“We come to the West Chester Petco for Grooming ! My 1 1/2 year old German Short haired Pointer Bow loves Rachel ! He is a handful and Rachel takes her time with him makes him feel comfortable and is always able to get his nails trimmed with no worries (Bow is not a fan of his nails being clipped ) . I will actually be adjusting my work schedule so he can have Rachel since she has been switched to only Mondays because of how incredible she is with him ! For anyone who's dog is apprehensive about being at the groomers have no fear Rachel is excellent ! We highly recommend Rachel for your fur baby's needs !”
“This place is a treasure! It reminds me of how stores were in rural areas when I was little. You feel valued and are treated like family. The owners and staff are amazing--friendly, kind, and very helpful! The store has an abundant variety of sizes and brands including feed, feeders, seed, toys, bedding, gifts, and trinkets for every animal lover out there. Prices are great. One of my favorite to go!”
“Great personalized customer service. Able Pet Supply sends me a box every month with different items for both of my dogs. One likes squeaky toys, the other hard bones and antlers. The box is the highlight of the dogs dayWhen it arrives.I also can’t wait for the seasonal collars and leashes to be on the website. “Very customer based company! My dog got an illness unrelated to using Dog Heiro but after conferring with Dr Frank it was decided that I should stop using the product. The company immediately refunded me the money I paid. Rarely can a company be found that responds so quickly to a customer! I have been using another product of theirs, Heave Ho, very successfully for years now on a horse of mine and I am a believer in their products.”

“I bought my all white female Guinea from pet supplies plus and she immediately bonded with my other Guinea who needed a companion. They became the best of friends instantly and love being in their hut together or playing around in their playpen. They just recently met and won’t let eachother out of their site!”
“We love taking our dog there for her bath! $11 well spent, clean, shampoos, conditioners, etc provided. You can blow dry, but I would still recommend bringing a towel for after as well as a collar that you can hook your dog onto the tub. Helpful staff!”
“The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of pet products. Great deals on their cat litter, you bring back your empty cat litter pail and refill it for a discounted rate. Live animals looked great, young ferrets were having fun playing in their habitat. Highly recommend.”
“I am writing this review and giving it 5 stares based solely on Janis who I believe is the manager at this location. Dealing with people can at times be a challenge. Every time I walk in with my dog Lucy she greets us with a huge smile and a warm welcome. She takes the time to acknowledge Lucy with a few pats on her head and a treat. From what I can tell Janis is a very loyal and dedicated employee as I have been in there when an employee did not show up. And yet still with a smile and a warm greeting. She always does her best to make sure she has Lucy's food in stock and helps with any questions I have with new products that I am interested in. We enjoy our weekly visit to Concord Pets to see Janis and pick up Lucy's food and treats!”

“I was looking for a coat for my 95+ pound Boxer. He has an auto immune disease so his fur is very thin and he requires a coat from the fall to the spring. This coat is great because it is easy on/easy off. The fleece lining keeps him nice and warm and the nylon exterior keeps the water off him in bad weather. Overall, this jacket was an amazing find and I highly recommend it:-).”
“Everything is always so clean and organized. I love seeing that the fish look healthy with clean water!! So many other pet stores have their poor fish suffering in dirty tanks, n its so depressing to see. The animals all look well cared for here!”

“I had a great experience today at the Grooming Salon here. They allowed me to schedule online and then called two days before to confirm my appointment. Sarah groomed Sammy (who is almost 14 years old now) and she did a great job, taking care to make him look just like the pictures I showed her from a previous grooming appointment at a different salon. The whole process took maybe an hour tops, and she called me right after she finished which made the process less stressful for my old man. No waiting around for hours in a cage here! Would highly recommend Sarah and this salon in general!”
“This is my....excuse me, Milo's favorite place in the world. YES! PETCO! I feel a little scratch on my leg every Saturday morning. Looking down, I always know I'll see my eager little buddy, Milo, my Chihuahua. He knows what day it is and exactly where we should be...Petco. This place is like the dog park for him. He just goes nuts. Once in, he's like a hound dog that has latched onto a sent! They simply provide everything I need. We just browse the online options,click,payand we're on our way!”

“this was one of the best experiences I have ever had at any store. Heather probably spent an hour with my ten year old son to help get everything he needed for the leopard gecko he will hopefully be getting soon. she literally built his reptile tank rom top to bottom with every single piece his gecko will need. we are first time buyers so this was helpful beyond words for us, thank you for the time and info you gave us. peyton can not wait to see his gecko!!”
“I recently have used the grooming services twice. Once for a nail trim and the other for a full haircut, bath and nail trim. I have had a good experience with Shawn each visit. She goes over what my puppy can expect, what I can expect and listens to any concerns I have. Shawn let me know the photos I showed her for the haircut I wanted for my pup would look a little different since my puppy had slightly different fur than the dog in the photo. I appreciated her honesty and recommendations. I am giving Petco four stars because of the unnecessary fees they tack on to the services. Just add them into the price of the haircut or service you are getting. I felt nickeled and dimed when I went to pay. I will be back and I recommend asking for Shawn. She is very knowledgeable and kind.”
