“I never thought I would leave a Google review about a bank, but Wayne Bank is the exception, in a good way. They were absolutely the best when it came to obtaining a HELOC for my second home in Pike County. They were kind, professional, and the most helpful customer service I’ve ever experienced in banking. Contrast this to the bank, I will not name that I have my primary HELOC with in New Jersey, which is the polar opposite. Unfortunately, we will be selling the second home and closing out our HELOC with Wayne Bank. Even more unfortunate is that they don’t operate in New Jersey in my area and I can’t continue to use them which is a real disappointment. I only wish to find a comparable bank to them in my local area. Keep up the outstanding work you guys do.”

“I had an unusual situation recently—I fell and injured my palm and was desperately looking for a stress ball to support my hand. After searching everywhere—stores, pharmacies, you name it—I had no luck. On a whim, I walked into the Wells Fargo branch in Milford, not expecting much.
To my surprise, the person at the front desk was absolutely incredible. Instead of brushing me off, she went above and beyond to help. She checked multiple drawers, went to the back, and searched thoroughly until she found one of their promotional stress balls. It was exactly what I needed—soft yet firm, perfect for my hand.
This small act of kindness made a huge difference to me. It’s not every day you see this kind of genuine care—especially for something unrelated to banking. That moment showed me that Wells Fargo doesn’t just care about financial matters—they care about people.
