“This Dollar Tree discount store is a fairly large size, and it offers the usual holiday decor, party supplies, cleaning products, health and beauty products, foods and beverages, toys, pet supplies, etcetera. Most of the products cost slightly over one dollar, and some products cost several dollars.
I selected many products to buy, and the cashier did not make me wait to check out. He greeted me, and he accurately rang up my purchase.”
“This dollar tree has really shaped up in the past year! It is SO much cleaner and well- organized! If you have gone in the past and had some trouble finding things, it is not like that anymore- which is awesome! They do a really good job!
I come here multiple times a week, lol, because I just really love dollar tree. I honestly go here before any other store, to buy my necessities at a much cheaper price and then I fill in what I cant find elsewhere.
The employees are all very kind and courteous, and I have had many good conversations with them as we check out my items. Good vibes are always appreciated ?”

“Store has most everything that is needed for quick shopping trip. Staff always helpful, and congenial. Store is a little small for the immediate area, doesn't have the square footage that it needs to be effective. Sister stores are within 3 miles, however they are not always convenient time wise if it is close to the 9:00P.M. closing time.Prices continue to be higher than the market conditions should dictate, I have conducted a Department of Commerce survey using their procedures, and Dollar General needs to apply more pressure on it's vendors wholesale prices, and make a clear reduction to Dollar General retail prices, very soon!!!! Great place to find decorations for practically every holiday, housewares, spring and garden accessories, large selection of foods in the freezer section, refrigerator section not to mention rows of unperishables. They have a decent sized health and beauty selection, automotive care items, toys, candy.... Oh and don't forget to check out the dollar aisle. One of my favorite areas to shop!”
“There are some good deals, even though it's now the Dollar-Fifty Tree. But there also are some ripoffs - items that are significantly more expensive here than at other stores (usually small weight packages disguised by large volumes of packaging or containers of liquid that are slim and tall). Be attentive, and you can come out fine.”

“They got a lot of things that you would want to buy and obviously for a cheap price. They obviously won’t sell high quality things and shelf storage isn’t a problem most of the time except for some items but there’s always an alternative item to buy instead. Pretty fire ngl”
“This DG has a good food assortment. They would be smart to move to the now closed Shoo n Save location in Pines Plaza. So may of the people living in the high rise that walk to get groceries would be happy for it and it would eliminate the dangerous exit they have now.”
“One of the nicest Dollar Generals I was ever in. The remodel they did to the old Shop and Save in Spring Garden Plaza gave Spring Garden Plaza a refresh that was different from 25 years ago. Look completely different than the shop and save that used to occupy it 25 years ago. Nicely arranged store and courteous employees. Nice little addition to the Spring Garden neighborhood. Nice to see the Spring Garden Valley Plaza has a nice refresh”

“Dollar Tree sells hygiene products, cleaning products, office supplies, foods, beverages, dinnerware, home decor, toys, pet supplies, holiday decorations, and many others. Products never cost more than $1.25. I stopped in this store to buy mostly hygiene products and snacks as well as some other things. The store could be a little cleaner and tidier. The cashier made friendly conversation.”
“The Christmas merchandise is out on display and the fall merchandise is on sale at 50% off. It gave the store a festive homey atmosphere. The cashiers and shelf stockers are always friendly and cordial.”
“Julie the cashier ( well everything... she was cleaning and stocking isles, but made sure nobody waited for her to check out) She was friendly, patient and helpful. I needed help using Klarna as my payment, and she helped me , She was friendly, didn't get Frustrated. Julie was absolutely professional, helpful, knowledgeable, able to multitask, and most importantly, she smiled through it all. She turned my bad day around! She needs to be recognized as an excellent and one of a kind employee! ????♥️♥️ It was by far the Best experience I ever had!!!!!”
“As of April 18, 2026, it seems like they've really turned it around, no piles of merchandise blocking the aisles, everything looks neat and organized. I'm impressed.
(Original three-star review) I really want to like this place because it's super convenient, but more and more I'm taking my money elsewhere: Aldi for groceries and The Yard Place for pet stuff. DG's prices are creeping past Giant Eagle, the aisles are constantly cluttered with merchandise which hadn't been put away, and it seems like they're always out of the thing I came in for--or it's in the pile waiting to be stocked. And on a Saturday they'll only have one register opened. This store 100% needs new management, more employees, better wages, something. It's a damn shame because, like I said, great location.”

“I spend alot of money at family dollar because thier prices have always been great. I hope they never jac the prices up to where I can't afford stuff. My only complaint right now is, have more packs of Kool aid and more toilet paper. I think they're still recovering from the pandemic.”
“They are well stocked and staff is friendly. A lot of inventory though is in the aisles and unpacked so navigating through the store is a bit tricky. Great prices and discounts (especially the $5 off $25 coupon/discount on Saturdays).”
“Went here for the second time last weekend, and I was so happy getting the items I needed. The aisles were stocked up, and it was a fun, shopping experience.

“The Familly Dollars have become convenience stores, very opportune in times of inflation. This particular Familly Dollar is neat and clean, there are no long lines of people at the cash register and it is very well attended, plus it has a good parking lot.”
“I found almost everything on my list. I couldn't find the ear plugs that I use at nighttime to sleep. The last time I bought them was at Walmart at the Mills. Next time I go shopping I need to go to Walmart for the ear plugs. I did enjoy shopping ? at this Dollar ? General.
