“Hands down the nicest Dollar general in our area. Highly recommend the fresh meat section. All fresh packed. Regularly marked down to 50% off. Not your typical frozen generic meat. Love having this in our town”

“My 1st Whole Foods visit in Reading. While understandably smaller then what I'm used to, their lack of options was made up for by the kindest and most personable cashier I've ever met. Realizing I was new to the area she pulled from under the register a welcome bag.
How could you not love a Whole Foods?”

“My husband and I go there offen. First for the farm animals, but then end up there from bagels and coffee to ice cream. You can't go wrong here.
?? Love this place! I would recommend it to anyone ?”

“I love Aldi and we shop here often. I tend to shop the "outside aisles" at Aldi. So mostly fruit, veggies, meat, cheese, nuts, dairy. The problem with this location is ALWAYS waiting in long checkout lines. They do not have self checkout for some crazy reason. If there's even a cashier, there's almost only just one and a very very long line. If you go during off-peak times, the cashier is often not even at the register, and you have to wait for them to see you there. It's annoying for sure, however we continue to shop there anyway. They NEED SELF-CHECKOUT, but they told me once that they'll never get it because Aldi won't get it for all of their stores.”

“This store is fantastic. I only learned about it a year ago. The variety of products is amazing. I love exploring different cuisine. It can be daunting when confronted with unfamiliar language and items, but the staff is beautiful. They are very helpful when searching for unfamiliar products. And the prices are great. No longer do I shop on Amazon for overly priced products. Support a local store today.”

“You have to have good timing, otherwise you’ll sit and wait. They could install extended hoses to be able to easily pump from either side. Too often, various pumps are shut down or not functioning. When prices change, they increase quickly and drop very slowly.”

“One of the best places I have delivered to in a long time. A full trailer load, I was unloaded, counted and handed paperwork in less than an hour.
More places should be like this.”

“Ok! I love this place. It’s my second favorite grocery place after Aldi’s of course. Groceries are sooooo expensive! The people there are super friendly and super helpful. One time a female worker took me to the item I was looking for and then gave other suggestions and helped me plan my dinner for that night! I love genuinely nice and helpful people!”

“I loved this place best kind of cheese and great quality. The sausage was the best. So sorry to hear it has closed shop. I have to find another small Italian market for my cheese and sausage.”

“Amazing, clean store. Truly a prime example for what modern gas stations should be like. Clean store and insanely clean restrooms, decent fresh-prepared foods at reasonable prices, beer/wine selection, and both self checkouts and regular checkouts. The staff is friendly and the store manager is often found ringing at checkouts, you can really see the pride he takes in his store the way he speaks of it and his team.

Only downside is Fuel is a bit on the pricier side, if you drive a mile or so into Moselem Springs you can get gas at Sheetz or Speedway for ~30 cents cheaper.”

“Often stop here for gas and redners brand beef sticks or chicken on my way passing through. Careful pulling out it's along rt 183 but definitely a safe stop for your fuel and trips needs”

“I'm rarely impressed by a supermarket but this location of Weis Markets is an exception. Everything about the store was pretty impressive. The layout, the inventory level, the presentation, the friendliness of staff are all quite excellent.

The store is clean and well organized. Handicap parking spots and maternity parking spots near the entrance. Automated doors for easy wheelchair access.

They have all the standard departments (deli, seafood, butcher, bakery, etc) but this is where the presentation really shines. One can feel confident that they're getting good quality at any of these counters...

They have a wine/beer section that includes a "make your own six pack" area that allows you to mix and match single cans or bottles to try different flavors. I'm a big fan of that concept and picked up an assortment of hard ciders.”

“The Dollar general had everything that I needed. It's a Dollar store but this one was nicer than most it's well stocked up on most of the stuff that they carry and the place is very clean. The staff always try to help you and will go in the back to try to find what ever it is you are looking for if they don't have it on the shelf. Don't believe me stop in and just ask.”

“Not my usual Aldi store. This one is located on the 5th Street Highway in Reading. The store was clean and well labeled. I was able to find everything I needed. Staff was courteous.”

“Usually my store of choice, sometimes visited two or more times a day. I particularly enjoy their store baked bread, which has a definite home baked flavor especially brought out by a quick trip to the toaster oven. I also like the store because of the rewards program which has earned as much as $1.00 off (per gallon) at the gas station! The produce isn’t always respectable; sometimes requiring digging through all of it to find something useable. Still, for the most part, everything else found there is always fresh and of great quality!”

“Small place but usually have items in stock unless supplier issues. If you can't find something the csm's in the front know where to look, or at least who to ask.”

“I placed an order for an event and the food was piping hot & delicious! The customer service in the bakery also fulfilled a request at the last minute.

5 🌟 to the staff who helped me today: Marina was my speedy & efficient cashier & there was a dark haired woman stocking milk....she was extremely helpful & took her time to explain questions I had with pricing. Thank you!”

“Store is great and easy to shop. Produce is great and the guy there, Pete, super helpful. I'm glad they usually have a cashier on duty sometimes you just don't want to deal with self checkout.”

“This store is well organized and clean. My wife and I have shopped here a few times and we keep coming back. The people are friendly and the prices are very reasonable.”

“The owners are genuinely so kind and the food is amazing! Such a broad selection, I struggled to find the perfect flautas in the area and the ones from here are perfect!!!”

“I wish they had security. Their was a guy that came up to my mother and I and put our groceries in our car. We thought he worked for the store but he was just a begger and asked for money after. It was really uncomfortable.”

4.1 Good145 Reviews

“Friendly and helpful staff, decent prices. They take much better care of their produce than Walmart, and it's worth paying a little more for Redner's: Walmart's greens are often already rotting in containers: you can check my photos of that place. This location also has lawn furniture for reasonably affordable, about $50 more than Amazon for a $200 unit. You can buy firewood here too.”

4.3 Superb50 Reviews

“I have a Redner's right down the street from me and I drive all the way to this one. I love this place. And the one lady that works in the deli she is great she always has a smile on her face”

4.1 Good134 Reviews

“Don't do too much shopping there because other markets are closer. Will I go out of my way to go there two or three times a week for their salad bar and hot bar. They're hot bar is the best in Berks County. Numerous dishes all delicious have tried them all. Also always have plenty of cashiers there. Owen all in excellent experience.”

4.1 Good133 Reviews

“Usually well stocked and this location is clean, even the floors. It's in a safe spot and the Shartlesville area is a grocery store desert so it's welcome to be able to get eats there. I gave it 5 stars but will amend my review, the store still clean BUT BUT BUT the parking lot is absolutely disgusting. There are cig butts everywhere, Hundreds . You gotta sweep it alt least ONCE a year.”

4.2 Good43 Reviews

“Its a reliable market for most of your needs specially for the time they close, thats the best thing about them. Only con is that you will have no idea what something costs till you go to pay but othey than that its good”

4.9 Superb9 Reviews

“This might be the best pastelitos I’ve tried in reading, good service the ladies in the back are super nice.

Recommend getting them fresh from the back!”
