“Very friendly and professional. I purchased three propane tanks at lowes and went to gideon king to refill. Price to refill was great, but one of tank valves did not work, so the associate said to get it exchanged and he would refill it another day. I said sounds great, should i get my receipt marked for when i return? He said dont worry about it, he will remember my face... and he did! I am shifting all of hardware store needs here from now on! Really nice people!”
“1/28/26 I was looking for a snowblower between these two monster storms and absolutely no one had one. A friend referred me to Honeybrook Hardware and I called and spoke to Steve. He went over what he had and although they didn't have the brand I wanted, Steve mentioned a Cub Cadet model. After many questions which I'm sure drove him crazy, we landed on one of the two models they had. Fast forward a few hours and I drove to the store to pick it up and there was some confusion about EFI vs carb, but they explained everything and made the transaction right and lifted this monster on my truck! These are great people who care about what they do. If you want an excellent selection along with people who care about what they do and care about the customer, Honeybrook Hardware is definitely the place to go! Also got 4 propane tanks filled which only took a couple of minutes and was very fair priced. Thank you for making it easy, guys!”
“This is one of the most excellent places to shop for hardware and farming supplies in the area. The store is set up in an old fashioned manner. Bins and shelves are neatly and fully stocked. This store has just about everything a farmer or homesteader might need. They have an extensive inventory of Milwaukee power tools. They also have the largest inventory of cogs and gears in the county, maybe in the state. What they do not have in stock, they can usually order. If they cannot order it, they can usually fabricate it in their machine shop. This business is not just a hardware store. It is a problem solving store. This is the kind of place you can bring and issue and someone can usually figure out a way to fix it, replace it, amend it or perfect it. This is a family owned business. It is run the old fashioned way, where people still know the proprietor and might sit and talk at the counter for a minute before ringing out their products. The employees are helpful and knowledgable. Be prepared to meet the family dog and feel free to throw her ball down one of the aisles. She will gladly fetch it for you and pester you for another toss til you walk out the door. Watch for the owner's little girls riding tricycle through daddy's store. If you want a real, bonafide country hardware store, where real people, living real lives still treat you like a name and not a number, this is the place. This isn't a Tractor Supply or an Ace Hardware. This is the real deal and a little piece of old fashioned Americana at its best, nestled right in the heart of Pennslvania's Amish country.”
“Jim and Dave were eating their lunch when my battery died- they came right over and got my car running!!! Great Guys! If you go to Elverson Supply, I’m sure they will give you the same great attention!”
“Filled a 30 pound propane tank here. Great service and the price was great. Make sure to get your propane fills done here. Right by the Lancaster / New Holland KOA.”
“Teresa was the best at the Tool Rental Center. She was helpful and had great knowledge of the item I was renting. Her customer service was top notch. I will be returning as a customer.”
“Visited this place a few times to shop for home-related items, and each visit has been a pleasant experience. The store offers a decent variety of products, making it easy to find everyday essentials. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable option for home shopping needs.”
“Great, friendly, local feed store. They have everything you might need and more. We just picked up the last of their chicks and some other things we didn't know we needed on the way out.”
