“I love this gym! I do the group classes, Not only are the workouts just planned out perfectly but it’s the people too. I’ve written reviews before about fort delco but right now I am experiencing an injury, arthritis in my knee and it’s so nice every time I go the coaches ask how your feeling and help you modify and they truly care! It’s like home away from home feeling, I can’t say enough about toms gym, it’s a very special place !!”

“I've been a member of traditional gyms and just worked out independently, but after college my workout habits became inconsistent and I didn't like the trajectory my health was on when I turned 30 a couple years ago.

I ended up joining Main Line Total Fitness because Ed (owner & trainer) and Tray's (trainer) program for me provided the additional structure and motivation I wanted. They take a whole-body approach to developing a fitness plan and use metrics in addition to weight loss to track your fitness progress. So while I've lost weight following their plan, I've also gotten feedback about how my body fat percentage has decreased and my muscle mass has increased, which has been really motivating for me.

100% love this gym and what Ed has created. I mainly train with Tray who has a lot of knowledge and has tailored my workouts based on his observations and my feedback. My top priority was to regain a consistent routine, and I have because of this program -- I mean, they even offer financial incentives for meeting my program goals -- that's pretty awesome!”

“LOVE this place and these people! Morning, daytime, evening and week-end classes are available to accommodate everyone. That was especially important to me, because I like to attend a 90 minute Bikram class, every single day and my schedule is very rocky! I find all of the instructors Chalise, Justin, Alana, Chris, Neil, accomplished, attentive and so approachable. I use modifications, because I have joint replacements and shoulder cuff surgeries.All of the staff are open and friendly .One of the co-ownwers, Andy, has asked the Focus community, to take walks with me, when I could not take classes and was healing. He expressed his warm wishes for me to heal and come back, because I had shoulder surgery. The community engaged, chimed in and have really helped out! Focus is inclusive in every way and members bring their children, as well as their parents. I feel very blessed to have connected with Focus Bryn Mawr!”

“I love this gym!

The energy in the classes are electric, the classes aren’t boring ( it’s a mix of boxing and circuit training) and everyone is super welcoming and down to earth. Trainers aren’t pushy and they’ll show you how to do moves properly and they are nice about it. No late charges, easy to book classes and easy on the wallet.

Very happy with my decision to join and can’t recommend it enough!

“My four year Anniversary is coming up with working out at Customized Phitness and it's the best decision I have ever made. Thanks to Marcus, I am in the best physical shape I think I have ever been in and the smallest I've been since before having children. He cares about the whole person as seen with the passion he has for fitness and nutrition. Marcus is happy to share this knowledge with whoever wants to listen and better themselves. I never would have thought I'd say this but I hate when life or work get in the way and I have to miss a morning at the gym. I highly recommend you come join us! “Dragon Gym has been a fantastic experience for my son. He's been attending for several years at this point and he has gained so much more than simply learning martial arts. There are a number of skills beyond karate that he has learned such as discipline, focus, leadership, confidence and communicating clearly to name a few.All the instructors at Dragon Gym have been great to work with and are extremely supportive. “I’ve been to a few different planet fitnesses and this one is by far my favorite! The staff are super friendly especially Susanne! I loved that she encouraged me to hit the massage chair before leaving! This place has two levels which make it look like a professional gym and adds to the roominess. This location in particular is the most comfortable for me. Yeah there’s a lot of jacked propels but no meatheads. Great diversity of age too which I appreciate. Just an overall welcoming environment!”

“I took an uplift class with Coach Jess. I was nervous because I have quirky things that cause some physical activity to be difficult but she was able to adapt almost everything to make sure that I was still able to do all the movements and feel super strong. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable and I never felt pressured to do more than I thought I could handle even if she thought I could handle more. I started the class with minimal weight lifting knowledge and finished today feeling both confident in weight lifting abilities and my body control in doing exercises. Her knowledge, personality, and humor made the classes fun. I'd totally recommend anyone taking the class if you need trauma informed weight lifting. If you're just looking for a great coach at a weight lifting gym... she's also your girl.”

“Great gym to work out at with lots to choose from. I never have to wait long for any equipment. Staff and other members are friendly. I'm big on clean locker rooms. The facility is well kept. Good local gym without the overwhelming corporate look and feel. The community is nice and feels safe at any hour. It's tucked away in Newton Square's Ellis Preserve.”

“I've been a member for the last year and I love it! The trainers are friendly, encouraging and supportive, and I love that I can also go whenever works for me whether a trainer is there or not. It was a real challenge for me in the beginning, but I felt myself getting stronger and more cardiovascularly fit. I started off at twice a week, then three times, now I often go for times a week. I've lost fat and gained muscle and I'm excited to continue getting more fit as I continue in my 40s.”
