“We had our sons 2nd birthday here, and it was smooth sailing! The event space was clean and full of fun toys for the kids. They accommodated our balloon artist, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were friendly, and helpful during setup and cleanup. The party table for the kids was sweetly decorated. The space was designed perfectly, which made it easy for both adults and kids to enjoy the party. Highly recommend!”

“Corridor is an amazing three floor gallery in the heart of Fishtown, complete with a mix of local artists and rotating exhibitions. I spent about half an hour wandering through the building and really enjoyed the setup and curatorial work. Staff here is super helpful in terms of outlining what you're about to take in, and the gallery itself is free to walk into.Make sure to add this to your Fishtown itinerary! I joined the mailing list to stay up to date on future openings and look forward to being a regular supporter of this community gem.”

“We had our wedding here this past December and I can’t recommend it enough. The building is beautiful and an amazing piece of history and the current goings on just make it better. The lighting added to the auditorium is austere and the disco ball in the gym is simply fabulous. All of the people at Bok were great and easy to work with. Elise was a wonderful guide who was available and knowledgeable throughout the planning process. For the wedding itself our lighting was done in house, the wedding party got ready onsite with breakfast pastries from downstairs and we got to do photos on the roof with the city behind us. If any of this sounds good to you, go take a look and see for yourself - it's awesome”

“Step into McGillin’s Olde Ale House and you’re stepping into a piece of Philadelphia history. This beloved tavern, the oldest continuously operating pub in the city, has been pouring pints and serving up hearty fare since 1860. It’s a place where the clink of glasses and the buzz of conversation blend into a symphony of conviviality. Here, friends gather to enjoy a wide selection of regional beers and classic American-Irish pub grub in an atmosphere that’s as warm and welcoming as the staff. Whether you’re there to catch a game, celebrate with a group, or simply soak in the old-world charm, McGillin’s promises an experience that’s both timeless and spirited. So, raise a glass at McGillin’s, where every visit is a toast to tradition and good times! ?”

“An elegant, relaxed, exquisite little jewel of a restaurant nestled just outside of Conshohoken’s developing downtown, The Spring Mill Cafe hosted a surprise birthday party for my younger sister. Menu and detail coordination were effortless, and the owner, Ezra, offered ideas and insights on how to best structure the affair. The food was - superb - , everyone in attendance raving about it. I couldn’t have found a better venue for the event, and will certainly return in the future. Wonderful. Go here.”

“We had a wonderful and amazing experience having our toddler's second birthday party here! We had approx. a dozen toddlers and their parents, along with friends/family/cousins, and there was plenty of room and fun for all. Adrienne and her team made the process seamless and for everything they did and all props, games, and decorations, we found the cost very reasonable. We've since been sending our toddler to the sports class, which has also been a fantastic experience! Thank you LCAC for being awesome!”

“Little did I know the US Squash Headquarters is in Drexels Campus. It's a very nice facility that I suggest checking out. They have a ton of courts, gears, and rentals. The bathroom facility is good/clean. Very good price point for monthly or single memberships as well.”

“Merion Tribute house is the perfect venue for a rustic castle-style wedding. It was everything we wanted in a venue. The Legion room is perfect for hosting a cozy indoor ceremony while the patio and lounge are perfect for cocktail hour. The ballroom is the perfect mix of large to host but still hinting toward rustic formal charm. The stage is perfect for a live band (we had one and it was great!) The entry area is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and the building itself is a jewel. You get the entire venue to yourself for your day, no sharing with others, and Collette was very easy to work with and has all sorts of diagrams and information on measurements and whatnot for helping you plan things out. She can work with you to store your decor and alcohol at the venue in advance so it's already there days before your event. They have preferred caterers and we went with John Serrock who was amazing as well. This venue was everything we hoped and dreamed and was reasonably costed too. The bridal suite to get ready in was so helpful and had lots of space. The grooms get ready area was great too. Photos of venue are by Martin Reardon Photography”

“Overall, my experience was amazing. I went to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. Folks at the table didn't enjoy their food. Though, I really enjoyed mine. I had the chicken francese meal. It was amazing. I wish I could recall our server's name. She was amazing. We were there on 4/13 and seated upstairs. Even the other tables of guests were great. Just an all around great experience.”

“What a really great spot. We came for a work dinner, not knowing what to expect, and it could not have been a nicer evening. The food was fantastic, from the very first appetizer to the delicious dessert cups at the end. The service was even better. The people were really lovely and the ambiance was warm and intimate. Perfect night. Thank you!”

“Came here for a friend's private birthday party and had an amazing time. Eclectic 2 floor place with pool, ping pong, and darts. Lots of seating. Space for a live band. The owner, Rich, and the bartenders, Jezebel and Colin, were extremely nice. I'd say it's a great place to have an event depending on how many people you have. Note for people who drive: parking is extremely limited (obviously not the venue's fault).”

“Beer Fest Activities @ 23rd St Armory! There were about 20+ breweries participating! I had a VIP Early Access Ticket…it was great to get started with the sampling before it became crowded!I focused on breweries that I haven’t had previous tastes…sadly this is when I realized I have a ‘beer problem’..there may have been 2-3 only that I NEVER had and once I sampled them…I wish I hadn’t…Haahaa! My philosophy about breweries today is: If you brew beer - it doesn’t = good beer!It was a good time overall!”

“This is a long time coming, but finally getting to writing this review!! I hosted my birthday party here in January and I could not be happier with my decision. I rented out the entire top floor and hosted ~50-60 guests. There was ample space for all guests and the food was amazing! The staff made sure that the food was constantly replenished throughout the night. The bartenders were extremely friendly and did not miss a beat. Thank you so much to the entire team, especially Ali for helping with the coordination ahead of time :) Working with Midnight Iris made hosting my party a breeze”

“?Carpenter Hall——is an important conference hall in the early days of the United States. Next, I will share with you some of my feelings after visiting~??I like the decoration style of the hall very much. The general high-end simplicity is matched with the right complexity of details. In the low-brightness yellow, the existence of black and white shows the seriousness and dignity of the leader? It is really a textbook color combination~?Even after so many years, people can still feel the solemnity of taking the oath here??There are some coins of great men for sale in the exhibition hall. The prices are not cheap, but they are also relatively exquisite souvenirs???‍♀️The place here is not particularly big~ but the overall historical atmosphere is very strong. The first Continental Congress was held here. The Second Continental Congress met in Independence Hall and declared American independence. It is a landmark building with special significance in the United States?❗️❗️If you are interested in history, retro, and architecture when you come to Philadelphia, it is highly recommended to visit Carpenter Hall. The combination of traditional and simple styles here also breaks through the fashion and high-end from a modern perspective, which is admirable~”

“Great venue for concerts and live shows! Old school opera stage converted into a modern hall with lots of seating and a bar! Parking is hard to find, only street parking in surrounding blocks. Try to take a rideshare or subway there.”

“I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. The staff was welcoming and patient, resulting in a wonderful event.I highly recommend! Totally worth the trip, if you aren’t local.”
