I called them first thing in the morning to schedule an estimate for repairs from a car accident, and within the next couple hours the estimate was complete and they began working on the repairs. I mentioned to them that I had a really tight timeframe on when I needed the car back, and they worked above and beyond to get it done very quick. When I picked it up, my car looked brand new as if it had come from the dealership. I was astonished at how personable they were, and how amazing my car was when I picked it up. Could not thank them enough for everything they have done. I would not take my vehicle anywhere but here. This shop is very honest and works hard to assist the customer in any way possible, whether it be financially, or with recommendations on repairs. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

At least that’s how my wife and I felt after choosing Caliber Collision in Chalfont for a relatively minor bumper repair. They treated my wife so nice and made the process so easy. Not only was the repair done expertly, but the car was sparkling clean inside and out when we picked it up. A few days later we noticed that they also reattached the knob to the front passenger seat’s electric controls. It came off a couple of year ago and we hadn’t been able to fix it. That small thing really tells me a lot about this shop. I strongly recommend them for your auto body repair work. You will not be disappointed.”

I’ve had my share of disappointing experiences with auto body and paint shops—sky-high estimates, long delays just to get started, and jobs that dragged on for weeks. “I have used Caliber twice to repair unsightly dings and dents to my car (one caused by someone opening their door and one caused by a tree branch that fell on my hood). Both times, they gave well explained estimates, got my car fixed on time or early, and kept me thoroughly updated along the way. On the second repair, when I asked them to also fix a door panel that had become warped (causing a panel gap) they did the entire repair as a free add on, even though I was willing to pay. Both repairs look like nothing ever happened. Basically, these guys are great. I’m very happy that they’re there for when stuff like this happens.”

“I took my car to Steve on a Monday to have him look at the dent in the back of my car. He said to bring it back in on Wednesday, because he has a guy that he works with that’s great, and should hopefully be able to get it out. My fingers were crossed!
Wednesday came, I dropped off around 8:30am, and received a call by 1:30 that my car was complete, and it was a third of what other local body shops have quoted me. I was shocked and so happy, as this dent has been really bothering me for the past few months. The work done, looks like there was never a dent there at all! I would recommend Steve to anyone!

Utilized John McShane Auto Body for a somewhat minor incident involving a practically brand new vehicle. I wanted to patronize a local independently owned shop rather that a franchised operation. Mc Shane has been in business for a long time and comes highly recommended. They were great dealing with the insurance company and ensuring that original manufacturer parts were used when the insurance company requested cheaper aftermarket parts. The turnaround for the repair exceeded three weeks, which seemed a little excessive. Delays in availability and transit times for parts were blamed. Upon delivery of my vehicle after repairs all appeared satisfactory. Closer inspection over the next day or two yielded discovery of multiple missing push type fasteners and self-tapping screws in the wheel well and trim parts the area of the impact. Not to mention a damaged air vent that needed to be removed from the opposite side of the bumper that had the screw hole completely broken with no way to fasten that particular point. An inspection of underneath the front bumper also yielded two more missing push type fastener. After a wash I also noticed the fender that was painted had a run in the paint. I repeatedly kept noticing something did not seem normal inside my driver's side door. I was seeing a row of open holes along the edge of the door and found a piece of weather stripping was missing after reassembly.
I am not sure if this situation is the result of overbooking, understaffing or lack of quality control. However, my experience is probably described best by the word "Sloppy".”

I took my Lexus here after a freak accident where a car part from a van across the road flew off and ruined my brand new car in multiple areas. I was upset and stressed about the situation, but the team here was so nice and did a great job working with my insurance company and making sure everything was taken care of. Special shout out to Rick, who was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, worked out everything with my insurance company so I didn't have to, and was overall just great!
