“I can’t say enough good things about this vet. Dr Whalen was so good in helping my with my little hospice kitty Lily. She was willing to remove the cancer on her chin when I was not having success getting my other vet to take the lesion seriously. Lily was the sweetest little cat and the staff at Susquehanna were so kind to me and patient with her care. Lily was happy to the end even though she went through so much and they helped me keep her comfortable. She had a really good month before she passed away. They sent a card to me as well and that meant so much to me. I have been meaning to send a card to them but I buried myself in work and tried to keep going after she died. Instead I finally decided to leave a review and tell everyone what wonderful people work there. I can’t thank you all enough - all the best ❤️”

“I have been taking my pets to Winding Hill veterinary clinic for over 6 years. The staff throughout the entire clinic are super friendly, supportive and helpful. I have worked with Dr. Gabig, Dr. Dailey, and Dr. Onstott, and they have all been extremely amazing with each of my interactions with them. I have mostly been working with Dr. Onstott with three of my fur babies over the past several months. She is awesome! She takes the time to really make sure my pets are doing well and to educate me on their needs. She is definitely a keeper and I will continue to schedule my pets appointments with her for wellness and any future needs. Thank you for all you do!”

“I took my newly adopted kitten to VCA Gettysburg for his initial checkup, the vet tech up front was very friendly and made sure my kitten was comfortable during his check up. The vet answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly. They even gave a little goodie bag for the first exam with toys.Their prices seem fair and I will be returning!”
“Had a great 1st checkup with my cat Loki. Dr. Crescenzi took her time to sit with me and discuss my cats health, what lab work was run, the vaccines he was updated on, trimmed his nails during the visit and removed some plaque build up on one of his teeth. Her staff was also very kind and knowledgeable. I can't see taking him anywhere else. You can tell she truly loves what she does and cares for animals.”
“Highly satisfied with the care my cat received from Dr. Pryor and the vet techs at this office. My cat had a broken leg and was getting casts off from his previous vet, but not here! Every cast stayed on and everyone here who handled my cat did so with respect to him being a cautious animal. They'd also change his bandage faster than I expected and sent me home with supplements to support his joint health. This practice certainly delivers high quality care.”

“My wife has been fostering kittens for a couple years now. We have been lucky with our foster kittens, but this morning one of our new foster kittens was near death. Our adult cats are seen regularly at Winding Hill, so that was our first call. They were so understanding and gracious, and asked us to bring the kitten in right away. They were able to see the kitten immediately and treated her with such care and dignity. Even though the kitten could not be saved, the staff and doctor were thorough and provided the best care possible under the circumstances. And they did not make this visit a financial burden for us either. Top notch care without charging us an arm and a leg - GREAT veterinary practice in Mechanicsburg!”

“I've been bringing my dog Mya here for about two years and she loves her vet visits. She's a bit of a celebrity among the staff. It's very difficult to get an urgent appointment, but I think that's just the state of vet clinics in general. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Even the cat doesn't mind going.”

“Only a 24hour operation on the weekend. I called on a weekday just as they closed and I was happy someone answered the phone. Great service! I didn’t need an appointment so I went as soon as they opened 10am. They were very caring and informative, treated my dog and gave me everything I needed for aftercare and a few friendly tips on adding things to his diet. I’m glad this place is nearby and won’t hesitate to return if another emergency pops up. I would say pricing is average but everything is done in one location so I’m not dissatisfied at all.”
“Man, people don't like vets, huh? My experience with Silver Springs Animal Clinic has been great. My senior goes to Banfield but my adolescent goes to Silver Springs. He was neutered here, no issue. In fact, about a month ago, I thought my senior was struggling to pee. Any cat owner knows that's a major, immediate issue and usually costly. I called her regular vet, who didn't have anything until the next day. No issue, they're not an emergency vet. I was prepared to take her to the local ER when I thought wait, let's call Silver Springs. They got me in just a few hours later! Turns out the little turd just had an upset belly and was straining to not pee. They were able to do imaging, blood work, the whole 9 yards. The staff was incredibly polite and professional. Love them!”

“My dogs are happy with the staff.The yearly well visit for 2 dogs and both received nailtrim was about $700.So, if you have 2 dogs set aside about 7 dollars a week per dog and you will be ready for a thorough checkup.Figure out the annualheartworm/ flea/ tick/ worm preventive and add to it.”
