“I would never go to any other local shop besides this one to purchase a quilt. Very kind & friendly & helpful. Go out of their way to get you want you want. Got my first quilt that I will treasure forever and pass down. I also got a bonus...a sweet little Amish girl singing me a hymn which touched my soul. It was one amazing experience. Prices are reasonable! A must go to experience location. I will be back in fall to purchase my lap quilt. ~ Karen Svrcek, Schuylkill County PA”

“Nice place but very pricey. It used to be that Amish goods were slightly cheaper. That was a big draw to go to Lancaster. There were originally a few kings stores. One of them the original is now closed up. It is just up the street from kings Homestead and sits on a corner property. This was the original wood shop where you could see the Mennonite carpenters. I say this because the saw equipment was electrified. Either way, they used to produce some very beautiful pieces out of that shop. The kings Homestead is very nice, but there is a lot more made from China offerings in home decor than there used to be. Don't get me wrong they do have a very nice selection of Amish made furniture. However, their prices have gone up significantly and they are no longer leaving you with the feeling that you've really gotten quite a piece for the price I mean you are getting solid real wood, but it is at a premium. Not complaining just stating the facts.”

“Elsa was so kind and patient. She provided excellent customer service. She took her time to help us find the perfect quilt. We went to five quilt stores in the area on the very same day. At the end of the day, The Old Country Store made the sale. And we walked out with an amazing quilt.”

“If you're in the Bird in Hand-Intercourse area you have to visit this store. They have Amish furniture on display including tables, cabinets etc. But they also feature table tops made of various domestic hardwoods, such as the hard-to-find chestnut. Most of their wood comes from reclaimed barnwood. An amazing store.”

“I loved it here!! So unbelievably beautiful.. They have such a large selection of home essentials and decor.. Prices were a bit high but not terrible. A must-stop!?”

“Very cool little store that is most unexpected, and a very welcome addition to the tiny town of Intercourse. Beautiful handmade rugs from all regions of the Middle East (These rugs are pricey, but I haven't seen better prices, they are gorgeous heirloom quality investment pieces) Various Turkish Kilim rugs, pillow covers, incredible lamps and lighting imported directly from Turkey. Also gorgeous painted dishes and housewares. You just can't get these beautiful things at a big box store. The ambiance reminds me of something straight out of Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. This is the real deal when it comes to Boho Chic. If you're in town, it's a MUST.”

“Riehl’s made the experience of buying a quilt wonderful. The shop is clean and well stocked. The woman who helped us was kind and patient while I chose which quilt I wanted to buy. There were so many quilts to choose from all beautifully made pieces of art. I liked that she shared some information about who had made the quilt which made the purchase more special. If you are looking for a quilt I would recommend this place .”

“They have stocked their store with beautiful furnishings! Just right for the setting we live in. They have battery powered candles for the windows of your home, lampshades, wall decor and so much more! Early Pine is worthy of a browse and a buy. As soon as I can figure the right lampshade, I'll be going back for it.”

“What a discovery! This shop is at the back of the store complex and has everything in the way of quality kitchen tools. I was so happy to find a Spaetzle maker, the slide hopper over the flat grate that makes Spaetzle making a breeze! They have everything, things you never find like clothes pins, wash soap, every conceivable kind of basket just a wonderful place! Locally owned, the women working there are friendly and helpful. My friend wanted a good quality wooden clothes dryer - the ones you fold up when not using. We couldn't figure it out, so one of the gals came downstairs and showed us, and not only that, buggy-lugged the piece upstairs for us! You just can't find that kind of helpfulness these days! A MUST STOP!”

“PROS: Very beautiful place to go to. They major in quilts made from the Amish and their variety is plentiful. Prices are all good and the staff is very nice CONS: only street parking is available which can be scarce OVERALL: if you're walking on by I recommend stopping in here. “Words can’t describe how great a shopping experience we had at Creative Rustic Furniture. I bought a hand-carved barn wood bowl and accessory baby violas arrangement. Craftsmanship, rustic look, and exceptional price made this the momento of a great day in Amish country. Forget Downtown. You need to visit this store. You won’t leave empty handed. 5+ Stars!!!”

“What a great little shop. A real novelty. The owner artist was in the shop making some of the gourd art that is sold here. The gifts were unique and well priced. The owner was very friendly. If you’re looking for a specialty gift that people remember for years to come, you need to stop in here and take a look at the art that is gathered together. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Great little store that had everything you can think of. When you walk into the shop you are greeted by the cashier. Also while walking in the place smells AMAZING. Hand poured and made right here in the heart of lancaster County Pennsylvania. Thr owners Rhonda and Kingsley are great owners. And do an excellent job at maintaining this cute little shop. They have hand crafted wood decorations, a lot of primitive merchandise. Rhonda makes her own potpourri, lotions and even room sprays. There is a gift here for everyone. Highly recommend if you're in lancaster County it's a must see. They even have a snack shack and sell amazing food. And when your done all that, you can have a look at the goats and rooster in the back of the shop. Very friendly. The pets are just as friendly and nice as the owners. Def have to stop in and experience this little shop for yourself. Also not to mention she has so many scents THAT ALL SMELL AMAZING.”

“The Crate and Barrel outlet offers a variety of furniture at 30-40% off, but be cautious as some items may be severely damaged. The selection is mainly furniture, with limited decor and accessories. While it's a good option for furniture, the overall value might not extend beyond that. On Black Friday, the discount seems modest, with only 10% off after a $10 donation.Service and staff are friendly and nice. The store is well kept and organized nicely.”

“My first time there. I saw an ottoman that I love and may get it. It's an outlet and my son and I thought they were still pricey. They do have very nice furniture and we fell in love with a bathroom double sink. Must visit.”

“Great prices! Lots of nice household items, a variety of clothing, and shoes. I have found several name brand shoes at a fraction of what they would cost elsewhere. The store is sometimes disorganized, restroom locked and sometimes closed, and customer service not great. The good finds are what keep me going back.”

“Excellent location. I love following their Instagram as they share every few days their current inventory and sales. The store is super organized and things aren't tossed and a mess like so many outlets.”

“What a beautiful spot this is filled with all sorts of nostalgic and unique goodies for everyone! A must to frequent. For anyone who knows the worth of antiquity, this place is full of very reasonably priced gems. Also, it includes a wide range depending on what you're wanting to spend. Thanks Kellie and Penn for a perfect and relaxing experience.”
