“I choose to support Golden Dawn because they are a small business and not a corporation. We always buy their meats then other things. They do try their best to please customers and they have been, even with the new owners. Prices are to be expected a little higher than bargain-off brand grocery stores. I'll continue to give them our business.”

“Phones were ringing, and the employee just stayed at the door, holding the door open, letting all the cold air in, and smoking. It's very annoying listening to a phone ring that may have been a sale of the day.”
“I been coming here since they have opened and I have got to say, I have seen a huge improvement. I think the new manager Zac has completely taken that store to another level. There no longer is carts everywhere and trash laying around and the store looks clean and organized. This is by far my nkw favorite dollar general!”
“Great prices and selection of products. I hate grocery shopping but this location has a Starbucks so it makes it much manageable. However I was there to get a small amount of dog food.lllll However, I guess you no longer have baskets .....covid maybe?? After searching around for a small cart or basket I ended up carrying 6 packs of dog food thru the store with a full coffee. Not an easy task. Then I had to wait in line for ever including the u-scan. If baskets are to hard to clean maybe give out bags or something like that. It was very difficult.”
“Everything! I especially like the Dollar General right next to the new Kensington bridge. They are always stocked And always have what I need. Another thing nice about this Store is that everything is always fresh, which is a major plus! I would rather go to Dollar General because it is easy to maneuver around unlike Walmart where you have to walk a mile to get from one end of the store to the other. Kudos Dollar General.”
“The Giant Eagle Pharmacy on Tarentum Bridge Road is terrific, and the entire staff of pharmacists and techs are fantastic.
My prescription refills and drop-offs are always quick both in store and at the drive-through, and they always work with me to ensure my insurances and discount cards are applied for maximum savings.
I particularly want to call out Alfred and Kylie, who are two of the most pleasant pharmacists and techs, respectively.
If my prescription is not in stock, they order it and then follow up with a phone call to let me know when it comes back in.
The New Kensington Giant Eagle is my preferred pharmacy, and their outstanding customer service is the reason why.”
