“This is more than your neighborhood pharmacy. The staff is always friendly and your prescriptions are always on time. You can find just about anything you need in this little gem from a gift to nostalgic candy and of course you'll always find something unique that you won't find anywhere else. Great Find!”

My only criticism is how your store is collecting plastic bags to recycle.
It's disorganized.
You got people throwing trash, ?️ etc.
In with the plastic bags.
You can't mix the recycling.
Plastic bags should go into one or two marked containers.
Trash, garbage should be put into a trash can.
Aluminum cans, or plastic bottles can be recycled into their own containers.
Your Giant store in Dillsburg does it right.
Wegmans and Weis does it correctly.
Your customers do notice.
Many people take recycling seriously.

“Love the scan and go feature of the App for the pump activation, payment, and receipt.
Pumps work well. You can pull the nozzle across to the opposite side of the vehicle BUT pull closer to the pump and be sure to pick your gas selection before stretching it. I’ve done it once when I was on a time crunch but I usually wait for the pump that’s on my tank side.
Can’t beat the price savings (especially in PA).”
“In the area visiting relatives. Needed emergency refill of insulin because I dropped the only vial I had on the hotel bath floor and it broke. Called a couple pharmacies before Sam's with no success. The assistant at Sam's was very patient and helpful. Contacted my pharmacy in Florida and was able to supply me with enough to get me through my visit and the pharmacist filled script with a generic that was $100 less than the doctor prescribed Novolog. Had to pay cash since insurance would not cover the refill so it was much appreciated.”

“The products are generally good. They have the same supply chain problems that everybody else has. The people are friendly and helpful. But (not in their control) their autocheckout is annoying (no choice for silence, as for instance Giant has). A few spots are mislabeled, like the ground turkey is in a section labeled beef and veal). One thing they can't do anything about, but I wish Weis would, is getting their over the counter medications into the system where my medical insurance pays for it.”

“I want to give a personal shout out to Chris and Jill! Those ladies really know their job :) Both are very pleasant, caring and have great personalities for customer service! I have upgraded to a plus membership, visit the club more than 4 times a month and also have a Sams credit card. Each time I am there I enjoy seeing these ladies. Only downside to visiting these clubs is the solicitors trying to sell you something while you walk throughout the store. I don't want to be approached or bothered while I am shopping. There are parts of the club I will specifically avoid just so I do not have to get held up by them. Would be 5 stars if not for the hecklers.. sorry.”

I find the bulk bacon is as close to homemade as I have found and has a good price on it. Good Bakery. Get a Club Card for additional savings and BOGO deals.The store is always clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for?”

I did switch to CVS from Rite Aid after they told me my medication was no longer manufactured (which was an outright lie)I've been using CVS for years now for my medications. Sometimes it might be on back-order for a day and it's really no problem at all. Sometimes, not every employee has an answer to every single question.This store is extremely busy at the pharmacy, so I can understand why phone calls aren't answered in a timely manner. There's one time I remember I sat on hold for at least 30 minutes. Guess what? The world didn't end, and life went on. Geez.”

“Using this pharmacy now 9 months and having to fill multiple prescriptions on multiple occasions. Even if your doctor sends in the prescription a week or 2 weeks ago it’s never ready when you show up at the store to claim it. Staff tells you it’s “in progress “. It’s the same pattern every time. No phone call to your home or cell telling you rx is ready. Obviously a staffing shortage that needs rectified and I am not hopeful it will be fixed. I am in my 70s and this is closest pharmacy to my home but now going to find one elsewhere and not CVS: October 2024 update- this CVS much improved since my first review and I attribute it to the hiring of additional staff and the text messaging notifications of ready prescriptions that never happened previously. Please continue this better service. Upgraded from 1 to 4 stars.”

“Great service. They were nice to my Grandma. people don't want to go to hanover for medicine I don’t want the store closed permanently. I wish it would never go out of business.”
