Pet Care
Animal Medical and Surgical Center
487 PA-18, New WilmingtonThey are amazing. I just moved to the area and already contacted them about an ongoing orthopedic issue with my large breed dog. We are coming from out of state and have things already started in getting his leg taken care of. Instead of wasting my time and money, Dr. Sumney messaged me directly and referred to a specialist they use in the area.
Then I got here and my dog got a hot spot and even though he hadn't been established yet ( he is not due till Dec but I did their intake and talked to them about the other issue) they worked him in quickly with Dr. Kish. Our dog has had bad experiences and we have to give him trazedone and gabapentin before the visit. They made it so he didn't have to wait in the lobby they came outside to get him. Techs name was Savannah and instantly, my dog loved her. You can tell she likes animals and is good at her job. Dr. Kish came in and same thing. They went above and beyond to keep him calm and make him not fear the vet. On top of that they even checked in about the issue I had been emailing Dr. Sumney about and helped as well as refilled his pain meds until we could get him to the specialist. This was all initiated on their front. I didn't even have to ask or push for help. Really happy I found them.

Pet Sitting & Training
Country Kennels
201 Janosky Rd, New WilmingtonLocation is amazing. Prices are very fair.
I originally took both my dogs, sadly my Max passed away couple years ago, but Fiona always has a blast. The owner is super friendly and really cares about the happiness and health of our dogs while we are away. Love that even with 2 Saint bernards they were able to be in a temperature controlled kennel together and also have access outside when they wanted.

Fractured Grape Wine Cellars
138 S Market St, New WilmingtonFractured Grape is absolutely amazing! The coffee has a wide variety and really makes it so you can customize your order to whatever you like. I may not be a regular, but I go there consistently and the staff are always so nice, quick, and helpful. All the coffees I have gotten there have ranged from really good to amazing. I am not a coffee drinker, but Fractured Grape is my exception because it is reasonably priced and dependable. Not even to mention the pastries and food items. I am not a person to really like coffee shop food items, but their bacon avocado toast changed my opinion and is now one of my Saturday morning cravings. I may not be very adventurous, especially since my coffee order is the same every time, but that really shows me the consistency in their quality. And another mention about the staff is that they are so incredibly competent. I rarely have to wait in line for my order, and part of that is that I am sometimes the only person in the shop, but when there is a line, the staff work so efficiently that I barely have to stand there because they work through the line better than most other places I have been to.
