“Bruce, Evan and the gang ALWAYS make me feel like I am their only customer, and from what I see they do that with EVERYONE! By the time you factor in the 2 hours and the fuel cost it takes me to run to Dickson City or Binghamton, the time to load my trailer and wait my turn in line to get close, fight traffic etc, I actually save money buying at Nicholson Lumber. I like the fact that they can deliver instead of me hauling a trailer on a 30-40 minute trip.”

The young men that filled my propane tanks were helpful, even coming to my car to get the tanks, very polite and did not act like I was bothering them like most other employees at other stores.i would recommend everyone to support this store. 5 stars +”

“Good selection, can usually find what I need. But I will echo the experience of others, not a great customer experience when you’re treated like a huge nuisance for walking in 12 minutes before closing. I was literally in and out of the door in two minutes, but was told by the man at the register to “hurry up“ three times while checking out. Front door was locked 7 minutes prior to closing time.I’ve worked retail, I understand the desire to get home promptly, but if you’re open for business there’s no reason to treat people poorly whether it’s 5 mins or 5 hours to close.”

“I went to Ace to purchase nothing. Just wanted to do some browsing. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted by staff with a smile and a hello. They asked if there was anything they could help me with and seemed eager to point me in the right direction. I was looking for nothing in particular, so I as such and went on my way.
I was absolutely amazed at the cleanliness and organized nature of this particular store! Everything in their own slots and front facing! Well stocked and very tighty! This place was like a mini Walmart! It had almost anything you could think of! A hardware store that sells hand soap and decorative bathroom garbage cans? Couldn't believe what I could buy here! So cool! The manager was super sweet and courteous. Stephanie I believe her name was. If you're in the market for a barbecue grill, battery operated lawn mower, any type of hardware or curtains, this place is a must stop for all your shopping needs!”
