Best Friends Pet Care
3351 Cemetery Rd, North EastEven though our dog couldn't be boarded here. Fred is an awesome person. His knowledge about animals is amazing. Wish our dog wasn't so cage aggressive, or we would be using Best Friends all the time.

Tailored Pups Dog Grooming
10330 W Main St, North EastWe found Tailored pups when we were desperate to find someone to fix a very bad and traumatic groom my Matilda had a few months back and they had a cancellation a couple days later and were fantastic with her. Fast forward to today when we took her in to be groomed again and found that she has a lot of PTSD from that previous experience and again they were fantastic! We are almost a hour drive away but will be making that no problem from now on because we know our girl is taken such good care of. I guess better late than never to find them!

Penn Shore Winery and Vineyards
10225 E Lake Rd, North EastWe love the Penn Shore wines so it was a first stop on our mini wine tour, specifically for the holiday spice wine. The building is undergoing renovations and signs led us to the back parking lot where the tasting area was outside but undercover. There was ample room and it was perfect as we brought our toddler along. Another group also had their toddlers with them. A dozen or so picnic tables under the pavilion and a few more under umbrellas surrounded by a rose garden was a cute setting. There were wine barrels set up as tables a little further away outside in the sun. It was close to the vineyards which made a great photo op. The young girl working behind the bar greeted us and we placed our wine order. I did not check if there were any food options as we weren’t interested in that at the time. My sampler wine flight came in small medicine cups. Likely because it was outside and renovations are underway. I don’t mind what the wine comes in but if you’re looking for a cute photo, this wouldn’t be it. I can’t wait to see what the new venue looks like when we come back in the next few years (or sooner hopefully!)

Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co
11727 E Main St, North EastArundel Cellars and Brewing Co. was a perfect stay, as there was plenty of parking for our large 46’ rig. The scenery was lovely, the host was great, and the drinks were excellent. The hostess had to close the establishment early, so we didn't try the food, but that didn't hinder our stay, as she gave us notice once we arrived and parked. Ensure you pull in at an angle, as the entrance has a slight slope.
