“Went here for the first time two weeks ago. First of all, there are slushies, and that feeling was equivalent to a kid in a 7-Eleven finding the slushie machine! The gentleman at the check out was very helpful and so kind! Listen, it was a bit intimidating being in a beer distributor and not knowing much about beer (tequila girl). I definitely will be back to check out more options!”
“I love this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a huge variety of drinks. Their prices are unbeatable and the sloshies are the bomb. They have a 10 minutes parking area which is very convenient. I recommend this place.”
“I can get beer delivered for less than if I picked up at my local shop. Not only that, but the delivery is right on time. I used to work in Reading and shop here. Always great service. Plus this location is iconic. The owner has meticulously maintained the building. Do any of the old timers remember the “Flatiron”? That space was rolled into the distributor and that block is an addition to the neighborhood.”
“Owner? Dude with a white mustache, always steers me in the right direction when idk what I want. Multiple times he's recommended different beers and I have enjoyed everyone. Plus, last time I was there some guy gave me a beer to try from his case that he purcjased bc he heard us discussing beer. And random beer fairy guy, you were ? right. I shall be getting Little Wizard IPA as a fridge beer. Thank you! In conclusion, go here for great beer, a knowledgeable staff and descent prices.”

“Just filled up our stock for St Patty's Day. Shelves were well stocked, store was very clean, both gentlemen on duty were very helpful, very polite. Helps that they are open till 9 pm some nights. Definitely recommend this store for all your needs, they even had something I was told by another store was discontinued!!”

“Pretty much all Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores are alike with the exception of staff. This particular store it seems like the staff is knowledgeable about their products and all were very friendly and helpful when it comes to the amount of Spirits sold. I'm in no way a spirits connoisseur on, so if I'm looking for something to pair a wine with or to match my preferred taste to find something different, I'll need to rely on the staff for direction which they have done in past to my satisfaction, plus they actually have a wine tasting bar but I think it's only during specific hours. I don't have details but it's available.”

“Always have exactly what I want wherever i go there. The shelves are always nicely organized and no matter the staff (there seems to be a new person each time I go there that I've never seen before; I believe they may rotate certain employees between a number of local stores,) they are always pleasant and helpful if needed. Since they have a self checking lotto machine, they automatically get a few more kudos as well bc they become a one stop shop for me. During the "curbside pick up only" timeframe they were even organized by giving me exactly what I reserved via phone. Getting through to put an order in was a bit mundane but that was certainly nothing they could control. They are close to my residence so as long as they continue as they have, I'll choose to go to this location whenever I'm in need/desire of visiting a FWGS store.”

“As my first time there, I was a bit unsure if they were open. Parking is a open choice. There is a handicap access entrance. Once inside a very bright and orderly presentation of products are arranged in a easy to shop layout. Staff was helpful and polite.”

“Cute little place. I went here for the first time yesterday to pick up some cider and/or seltzer. They actually had a decent selection of seltzers.rhey had three companies for the cider with a few different kinds.
The guy that helped me was very nice and helped me look up ingredients and nutrition facts for the stuff I was interested in. I ended up purchasing both because he was so kind without judgement.

“Ive worked a few doors down from here for 2.5 yrs now and I visit much more than I’d like to admit😂 the whole staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, efficient and pleasant. But the ladies especially… what lovely human beings. They connect with regulars, they crack jokes, u can tell they enjoy their job, even during stressful/busy days/seasons. I vent to them when I go in if something crazy’s happening at my work, and they’re always so empathetic and interested in whatever is being said. I literally can’t sing high enough praises. They are all amazing.”

“This is a nice little local, easy in and out family owned beer store. Accessible via Rt 73 in center of Oley. PA. Long term employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. they're very well stocked at all times. Large selection of beer and other beverages that you would typically find in the local beer store. Ice chest is always full with bags of ice. Highly recommend this place rather than big corporate. Please support your small local businessespecially.”
