“It goes without saying that if you find yourself in the Penfield, PA area you already know that there isn't much here. Enter this new-ish Dollar General to help fill the void. I needed some charcoal for my glamping experience over at Parker Dam State Park. I struck out up the road at the Minit Mart but they told me that this DG should have what I was looking for. I walked in and sho'nuff there is a Kingsford display in the outside foyer before you even get fully into the store. I picked up my two bags and walked inside. No one was at the register but they have this lovely plastic pig on the counter which has a sign on it that says something to the effect of "Squeeze me for service." Two oinks later and I was in business. The associate quickly rang me up and I was on my way. I have no idea what else is in the store as I have never been in a Dollar General in my life and I never got past the register in this one. They had what I needed, the store looked new and the service was fast. Perfect. (Open daily 8am-10pm)”

“This facility is awesome! And to think how far out in the sticks it's located makes it even more of an absolute diamond find in the middle of a forest. The prices of everything are more than reasonable. We filled our truck with gas and loaded up with vacation supplies and souvenirs while here. We even had the opportunity to chat with the owner named Charlie. He was an absolute joy to chat with and he gave us some really good tips on how & where to find the elks without disturbing them.”
