I’ve been buying records for 18 years now and i’m fortunate enough to be in the same city as one of the top 10 record stores i’ve ever been too. Nick is the absolute gem of gem record store owners. He’s just a good time and solid dude, these crying kids complaining about their experience are forgetting that the record store is for everyone and nobody wants to wait for them to listen to the entire album on their phone before they make a decision to move to the next. They SHOULD be kicked the hell outta’ there. I love this place, the used/rare selection is out of this world.

This was our second visit to this record store. Large, well organized selection of records, books, cds and dvds. Friendly and knowledgeable people. The store is accessible, though there are a lot of shelves and bins, which require a bit of care and patience while moving about the store.

Decent experience for the first record store. Organization of hip-hop and RnB sections respectively could use work but diverse pickings of multiple genres. Solid vibes in there too.

Solid prices and a great collection, but all the reviews you've seen about the hipster-looking owner being a jerk are still true. The store would be far more attractive if he was there less often.

Dropped in during a weekend visit to Philadelphia. Great, wide-ranging selection, solid balance of new and used records. Many gems, too, and fairly priced, with excellent and accurate notes on rare items, items with condition issues, etc. I've since played everything I bought and I couldn't be more satisfied. The two people working, one at counter and another in the back, were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely nice. I planned to pick up just a couple of things and walked out the door with a bagful. On the train home I regretted not buying half a dozen other records I had looked at, only moreso after listening to the quality of what I got. I will be back on my next visit to Philly. Recommend highly.

Vinyls, cassettes, CDs, books. This record store has everything. The atmosphere is a 10/10 with funny and smart decorations, and the awesome chill dude at the register just adds to it.For a relatively "small" place, it has a great selection and much variety throughout many genres, and the alphabetical order was chef's kiss. That's where I found a vinyl I've been looking for for months, AND in its limited edition with the poster in! SO HAPPY!!A hidden gem in Philly!

Excellent record store, huge selection across jazz and rock mostly, with some blues, country, funk. Suitably graded, bought 3 albums and very much enjoyed my visit!

Overpriced records, unorganized shelves, bad customer service, and records in poor condition. Can't say I recommend. The owner is very disrespectful too. Don't make the mistake of shopping at this record store!

Decent selection of books, but thats the best I can say. Prices are high and service is bad. I purchased an improperly graded record and requested to return it, but the owner denied the poor condition and was very rude about it. Never got my money back. I guess Its getting harder to make rent in Philly or something. Don't waste your time or money here.

Best record store in Philly. Management is super nice and helpful. The selection of old and new vinyl is unmatched.

Amazing place for records. I have stopped here several times over the years on Philly visits; they seem to have a constantly rotating stock of used product. Rated highly.

A Great vinyl shop with nice selection. And you can get your Jazz here too!

The number one perk of this record store is the huge Latin section. I've found some amazing Tom Ze and Gal Costa LPs here, stuff that most record shops never have. If you're into Bossa Nova, Brazilian rock, etc., you will find something here. The rest of the shop is great, but the Latin section is what makes it stand out

Great record shop! Their Jazz selection is the best I've come across in the area. I was looking for a couple of old Jimmy Smith albums & found both, along with 6 other LP's. The sleeves were shelf-worn but the vinyl was pristine! You have to put in a little work to figure out the order of some sections, but the product is there! Nice, eclectic selection of books, as well. Guy at the counter was very friendly & loves to talk live shows. I haven't been to every shop in the city, but this is the best I've seen so far.
