Queenie's Pets
7174 Germantown Ave, PhiladelphiaQueenies Pets has been such a gift to both me and my girl, CoCo. Knowing she’s with people who truly love dogs and treat them like family gives me so much peace of mind. Mike and Dani are both wonderful with her — patient, caring, fun, and clearly animal people through and through. CoCo comes home happy, tired, and loved, and that makes this mama one very happy customer. I’m so grateful to have found Queenies Pets and the amazing people behind it. Highly recommend! 🐾❤

Sally's Paw Spaw
1939 Passyunk Ave, PhiladelphiaI have nothing but good things to say about Sally's! My dog is very anxious at the groomers, but I let them know that up front and they were able to make adjustments to accommodate. They even let me bring him back for a quick follow up to groom the areas they couldn't get the first time. The feedback they provided was also very helpful. It's obviously not their job to manage my dogs anxiety - that's my responsibility as the pet owner. Now my dog takes a mild anti anxiety med before each appointment and does fantastic! They make sure to never push past his limits, which I truly appreciate.
They are all such nice people and I trust that my dog is safe when he's there. I would definitely recommend Sally's to friends.

Paw Prints Professional Grooming
6804 Ridge Ave, PhiladelphiaLiterally can't sing Abbie's praises enough! Shes like the fluffy dog whisperer! My fur-baby's cut is always impeccable when she comes to PawPrints and I'm genuinely shocked by how they do such quality grooms so quickly! The Groomin Room
3828 Morrell Ave, PhiladelphiaI booked this appointment after my coworker recommended the place, and I can see why people keep coming back. My german shepherd sheds constantly, especially during warm weather, and the deshedding treatment actually made a noticeable difference. Fur stopped covering my car seats immediately afterward. The groomer explained which brush would help maintain his coat at home instead of trying to sell random products. My dog also smelled clean without that heavy perfume scent that some grooming salons overdo.

I feel I am making a reasonable decision to hold off on surgery, based on my cats behavior and history. I genuinely felt the vet wanted what's best for my cat. All my questions were patiently answered, I didn't feel rushed at all. The waiting room is clean and quiet. I look forward to continuing my cat's care at Indy Vet. I recommend Indy Vet because they completely understood where I was coming from and listened patiently as I discussed my cat's history. They did not push unneeded tests. Pet Sitting & Training

Off Leash K9 Training, Philadelphia
3502 Scotts Ln Bldg 16 | Suite 1614, PhiladelphiaI can not recommend Off Leash enough! I did the 2 week boarding and have been so happy with the results, such a worthwhile investment. If you're on the fence, do it!
My pup stayed with Kim for two weeks. I felt so comfortable leaving her with Kim, and got a ton of updates and pictures throughout. They went for long walks and hikes every day, and had homemade turkey meatballs every day. I always knew what they were working on and what is expected for each command/behavior.
My pup was extremely energetic and about to start prozac for her anxiety. After training she seems so much less anxious and was able to self-regulate and listen rather than being in a hyperactive state all day. After the two weeks and our final training session together, I felt extremely confident in my ability to continue the training given my pup had such a solid foundation and knew all the commands.
This past weekend was the ultimate test as my pup was around several other dogs and about a dozen people. Where she would have previously jumped all over every guest, she patiently laid down and waited to hear the word 'break' before greeting anyone. I am SO proud of her and can't thank Off Leash and Kim enough! It is such a good feeling to trust your dog and give them a bit more freedom to explore.

Top Tails Dog Walking & Cat Sitting
4431 Main St, PhiladelphiaTop Tails took excellent care of my two sphynx cats, PIMMEE and Billie-Jean, while I was away. I received daily photos and updates that honestly made my day, and communication was always quick and responsive.
When I returned home, the place was spotless and the cats were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. Their routine was followed closely — treats, wet food, and even oral medication were given without issue.
Most importantly, I could tell PIMMEE and Billie received real attention and first-class care. I would absolutely trust Top Tails with them again.

HD Dog Training Llc
237 S 18th St # 17d, PhiladelphiaThe whole experience with HD has been worth every penny. I have 2 dogs, one being a very reactive puppy who also learned some bad behavior from his older brother. The training approach is praise oriented- allowing the the dg to make mistakes and rewarding when they correct themselves. He analyzes how they are feeling and treats them with lots of love. Aside from the actual dog training, he also redirected me on many things that I never realized I was doing incorrectly. Even though I’m very connected with my dogs, I understand them SO much better now.
There is a group chat with all of the employees that I can refer to if I need help between lessons. Everyone is so helpful, professional and friendly. 10/10, best investment I made to improve my daily life with my pups.

Opportunity Barks Behavior & Training
38 S 3rd St, PhiladelphiaIn 5 weeks of Day School at the Old City location + an incredible 4 day seminar (with Forrest Micke and Kynology) at OPB’s Farm Dog location, our mystery mutt with an equally mysterious past grew into a less anxious, less fearful, calmer and happier being. Strangers comment on how well trained she is now, but I feel like we’re just getting started!
Thank you Ashlee, Siara, Janet and Leigh for going at Ginger’s pace and teaching us how to safely navigate the world together.
What I used to see as triggers and obstacles are now opportunities to grow through stress!
It’s like the saying goes, “You don’t get the dog you want, you get the dog you need.” And you all have helped me learn through Ginger and deepen our partnership!
For those reading this review - don’t hesitate to seek OPB’s support. Their entire staff is extremely organized, communicative and supportive of your individual needs/goals.
We’ve only had our beloved Ginger for one + year, she is around 6-8 years old, and came with a lot of baggage. If Ginger can be helped, OPB can help any dog in a safe and loving manner!
Thank you all again. Looking forward to continuing sessions, classes and excursions!

EDIT*
Jenny Smoothie in Roxborough is absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming to Jenny since she first started years ago back when she was running the food truck, and it’s been incredible to watch her grow into what she has built today.
The owner is genuinely one of the best people—great personality, amazing energy and aura, and you can tell she puts real love into everything she makes. Taco & Ramen
615 South St, PhiladelphiaHighlights:
Cute cozy ambience
Great fast service
Great location
Unique combo of Tacos and Ramen but never really mind blowing
We got
- Italian Spring Roll : 2.5/5. I didn’t enjoy it, tasted too much like pepperoni pizza and not really spring roll-y
- Shrimp Tempura Taco : 3/5. Not bad. Not wow. $5 too much for a single taco that’s not even nearly as good as gas station fuel city tacos. Iykyk! The tempura itself was good. The whole taco thing is more conceptual, less actually tasty
- Tan Tan Ramen : 3/5. Pretty flavorful and comforting. Nowhere as good as a legit ramen spot. It was good, but not “I am craving it”
- Mayu Ramen : 3/5. Pork was good, cooked really well. I thought it lacked flavor. Needs a punch. And a kick.
Green Tea Mango with Passionfruit Popping Boba : 4/5. Loved it. Refreshing. Not too sweet.
Service : 4/5. Very good. Friendly. Fast. Caring.
Consider if you’re looking for a fun take out spot or a quick stop while walking south street. Don’t go expecting excellent tacos or ramen. Vibes are good, cozy, cute, clean.
Would I come back? Maybe not. But I’d definitely do take out!
