If you have a petition in your heart, or just need a space in solitude to pray, go visit, St Rita Shrine in Philadelphia. The shrine opens at 9:00 am. You can sense the sacredness once you walk into lower church. St Rita is known for the impossible prayers. Bring your prayers and petitions. There are confessionals during the day. The shrine has a gift shop on the premises. A young man by the name Michael is there to assist you with any questions. He is friendly and knowledgeable. ?P.S. She is unofficially the patron of baseball.Daily MassesMonday through Saturday8:00 a.m.12:00 p.m. NoonA Novena to Our Mother of Good Counsel is prayed after both Masses on Monday, and a Novena to Saint Rita is prayed after both Masses on Wednesday.

The shrine is amazing. The young man who works in the gift shop is such a pleasure. He is so sweet and the light within him is truly touching. Such a great person to interact with- especially as I imagine he is in contact with people who might be feeling hopeless. An angel among us.

We were married at St. Rita's in early 2022 and it was all we had hoped for. Jonathan and Valerie made the planning of our wedding so smooth and ensured our wedding was executed seamlessly. Their attention to detail and promptness put us at ease and allowed us to focus on other details. The shrine is absolutely stunning and the flowers in the church are always beautiful. We also appreciated that St. Rita's is handicap accessible with an elevator in the back. St. Rita's and the staff made our wedding perfect.

My grandparents, parents and my husband Matt and I married St Rita 1979. Shrine is beautiful and her novenas In May are very special to us. Our funeral services, including my husband 2013 will never be forgotten. Diverse religions would also appreciate the beauty and symbols of our saints. I still feel the memory of hearing my grandmother opera voice echoing in church

Taking our vows at Saint Rita's National Shrine was an unforgettable experience. The priests made us feel at ease during the preparation period and the staff were incredibly organized. Saint Rita's team considered every detail to make our day a dream come true. The ambience inside the shrine was breathtaking. We highly recommend this holy shrine as you start your life together.

My husband and I recently got married at the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia. I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience. For starters, the church and shrine are absolutely beautiful, both so clean! From the very beginning, everybody that we worked with at Saint Rita's was so kind, so patient, and so accommodating. When we reached out to them, they replied promptly whether it was a phone call or email. We began planning our wedding in July 2020 for May 2022. Setting a date was so easy with the help of those who work in the office, especially Stacey and Jonathan. They were honest about all of the expectations, parking, marriage process, etc. from the beginning. As the wedding got closer, we worked with their music organizer, Michael, who was incredible. We got to sample all of the music and pick exactly what we liked. The process was absolutely seamless! When we were figuring out parking, they helped explain exactly how parking works and additional options incase we needed them. The parking for guests and the bridal party/families worked out perfectly on our wedding day. I had no worries on my wedding day and not one complaint. Leading up to the rehearsal, we worked with Valerie, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was super helpful figuring out all of the final plans. At the rehearsal, we were able to ask Valerie questions and make sure the ceremony looked exactly how we wanted it to. She was so helpful and so great to work with. On our actual wedding day, everything went even better than we had expected and, as I said, I had not a single worry thanks to those at Saint Rita's who helped plan it. Luckily, we got married in the month of May, so the altar was decorated beautifully with flowers. They kept everything so nice and fresh! The photos that our photographer (The Wise Image) took at the ceremony were breathtaking. I would absolutely recommend getting married at Saint Rita's. It was the most beautiful, stress-free experience I could have asked for!

St. Rita Cascia Church and Shrine is an absolutely beautiful and truly spiritual Holy place. The paintings, the stained glass windows, and the statues are all works of art and are sights to behold. The wonderful Augustinian Priests who work there are so knowledgeable and compassionate. They are all totally devoted to the needs of all their Parishioners. St. Rita Cascia Church and Shrine is a true treasure in all respects and located in the city of "brotherly love"- Philadelphia.

This church was the focal point for our wedding planning. We got married there in August 2021. The church is absolutely beautiful! It worked out that after we booked the church, our wedding venue ended up being a few blocks away. Everything about working with the wedding staff at The National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia was seamless. They saved a couple of dates for us for a couple month period until we worked out the reception venue. The staff is very low key, but anxious to make sure the wedding goes off perfectly from the day you reserve the space through the wedding ceremony. The music is beautiful. They are specific as to what selections they will allow and you must use their organist and singers, but the variety of music is plenty to choose from. The wedding was very elegant. The church aisle is one of the longest in the City, which makes for a nice entrance for the bridal party and bride. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the National Shrine of St. Rita's. The wedding ceremony/Mass was everything we expected and more. We brought in a priest from the outside. No problems. Our decision was definitely the right one to go to the National Shrine. Thank you, Jonathan and staff. Everything was so appropriate, God-filled, and elegant.

My wife and I were married here in the fall of 2021 and it was simply amazing. The Shrine is beautiful and the Church itself is breathtaking. Everyone from St. Ritas is incredibly kind and accommodating. The organist and cantor were absolutely incredible as well. Perfect location for our guests as we had a center city reception. Cannot recommend St. Rita's enough.
