“Been going to Holts for the past 12 years. Best lounge that I have ever seen. If your in Philadelphia, it’s a must stop because of their cigar selection, well groomed friendly staff and atmosphere is great.Great place to meet people whether it’s the owner of an HVAC company, police officers, IT tech or project managers of construction companies.”

3406 Sansom St, Philadelphia“I happened to be in the area of the 3400 block of Sansom Street today in West Philadelphia and a familiar sign caught my eye from 22 years ago; Avril 50. Avril 50 was a regular stop in my patrol days and I loved walking into the shop. Always the wonderful aroma of brewing coffees and chocolate dancing with other exotic smells and the smells of fine papers and magazines. It always felt to me like stepping from West Philadelphia into a magical pocket of Europe. As it looked exactly the same, I wondered if anything had changed in the past 22 years and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I found that it was the same - like stepping back 22 years, yet somehow I was that much older. The proprietor was still there, still the same and looking no different - something that confirmed my belief that this was a magical and wonderful pocket paradise tucked away on a small West Philadelphia street. A brief catch-up chat, a shopping bag of fine teas and a perfectly brewed double-espresso to takeaway later; I stepped back into the bright Fall sun of West Philadelphia. I found myself smiling as I sipped the espresso, happy that one of the best things for me in that neighborhood has remained unchanged for others to enjoy and to continue to discover. It will not be another 22 years before I make my way back - that is for certain.”
“I've been coming to the store for a little over a year & this is literally the only smoke shop I'll come to when I'm in center city. The owner is very cool & have great customer service, a selection of different items and the value is amazing . I would recommend you all to stop by.”
10AM - 6PM
2740 S Front St, Philadelphia“Staff is great some of these reviews are false and false reviews makes a business look bad one guy says the follow you around the first time I went there yea to ask me what kind of cigar you are into. But to me I just think that's great customer service don't listen to these nay sayers trust me go there the election is great anything you want to try is there and the value is not bad. One of my socks was not biting right the manager told me go pick another stick. I love this place”
“Me and Harry's go way back but I hadn't been there in a while. The "new" location definitely works! The selection is still top notch and the service excellent. The upstairs lounge is more than worth the basically 2 cigar minimum purchase (technically a $25 minimum cigar purchase regardless of how many cigars). Comfortable chairs, nice electric fireplace, beverages and BYO and the Game is typically on one of the two TV's which aren't super loud - it's nice to actually have a conversation or a quiet smoke.Speaking of a good smoke, the ventilation is excellent, which means you not only have comfort but get to truly enjoy "your" cigar. That selection I mentioned is a very good one. The humidor is very well stocked and covers every palate from the newbie to the true connoisseur.I'm biased but speaking as objectively as possible, it's one of the best little cigar shops in the US.”
“Just visited Philly for the first time a month ago. Cappelli Brothers is one of the most laid back cigar spots that I been to outside of Florida. It has a cozy, chilled laid-back vibe and the employees are awesome. No pretentiousness about the vibe here at all. Jared and Jim made me feel welcome from the moment that I walked in there. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Philly.”
“They come through super clutch every time I've ever used them. I recently started using puffco products, and my atomizer broke. I knew they sold puffco rigs, but did not think they had all the accessories you need as well, and they were fully stocked!! I thought for sure it would have been more money to buy the puffco there than ordering online, but I highly regret not using them as they offer the same price as puffco and stand by their products! As a local, this is hugee!! Instead of waiting until the wknd to use my peak again, it's back in action better than ever with a new atomizer and dish at the best price possible. They have a wide selection of all e rigs and lots of other cool stuff! Best in the Roxborough/ manayunk area! To the girl that helped me tonight, I'm sorry I forgot your name.. but you were more than helpful and extremely friendly!! Thanks again for everything ?”
“I stopped at the Pipe Rack during a work trip last summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of hard to find or otherwise sold out pipe tobacco, like Carolina Red Flake, and at good prices. Dave was wonderfully accommodating and knowledgeable, particularly with recommending new (to me) tobaccos. He introduced me to the world of Mac Baren. I look forward to stopping here on my next trip to Philly!”
“Super clean lounge. Comfortable seating and friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating makes it perfect. Cigars are kept very well. I've had MF cigars before and been impressed, but nothing like the ones from this shop. Get out here and grab a good quality stick!”
“Victor & Mami are VERY, NICE PPL who do what they can to help the customer. I don't have not one bad thing about them and their store. It is very neat & clean & if they don't have something u want in stocks, they'll do whatever just so u get it. Thank Victor & Mami!”

“I recently ordered cigars from Holt’s. I live in a couple of different states, so I use a couple different addresses. When I ordered I messed up the delivery address. I combined the address and the wrong zip code. Obviously my error. UPS, naturally confused, returned the order to Holt’s.The tracking said it was being returned. So I called Holt’s customer service. At first they were confused also. But, being the customer oriented organization that they are, said; “not to worry, we will reship and get them to you tomorrow”. I apologize, I did not note the representative’s name that I talked to. She gets 10 stars, on a 1-5 star rating. After that conversation, they called me back and kindly and without judgement, explained that after further analysis, they discovered the address error. Yep, I’m embarrassed, but their approach was non accusatory and they went out of the way to cover for my mistake.”
9:30AM - 5:30PM
6200 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia“I am disabled and use a wheelchair, when Sam sees me coming, he comes right to the door and opens it for me, he is such a nice person. He always has what I need and if I have any questions about rolling my own cigarettes he knows all the answers. And in bad weather I cannot take the buses with my wheelchair so I call ahead and order what I need and I have my friend pick everything up for me. Sam always has everything ready and once he even stayed open late to wait for my friend to pick my bag up. If you hadn't tried to smoke shop before please give it a try I guarantee you'll be very happy. Thank you for reading my review God bless”
“This is the best place to purchase chocolate cigars. I bought two packages of two cigars each for a total of $2.00 plus tax. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was great fun to shop there. As the staff is so animated.”
“Been going here for over 6 years, and this place never disappoints. The customer service here is amazing, they're very friendly. They have a huge variety of candy, food, tobacco, etc... Prices are very reasonable as well for everything. They sell things I've never even heard of. Highly recommend!”
“Uzi has what you need, or will get it for you. Good man/Great sales too. I stop in an say: Show me what's new. He always has me walking out with WHAT I NEED. Good man he is...Go see him. Tell him, Joe said High!”
“It's not exactly my choice of food. I'm not Indonesian but the place looks extremely clean. Prices are reasonable . Food variety kinda limited. It's not a huge store.”
11AM - 9PM
608 S 5th St, Philadelphia“I like how this shop is low key. It kinda reminds me of some of the record shops & skate shops I grew up in. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. The prices are affordable and comparable to online shops. I will return for my vaping needs, no doubt.”
“I am a cigar novice that asks a million questions. They've been awesome with answering the questions that I have. They also have a great selection of cigars. Their prices aren't super competitive with some of the deals you can find online, but I don't mind spending a little bit extra to support a local brick & mortar store. I haven't used their nice cigar lounge yet, but the atmosphere in there is always friendly, and it's not usually very crowded when I've been there. 5 stars all day.”
