This is a Historical Landmark Post Office. Benjamin Franklins House is right next door. 👌 FLY a Kite With a Key. 🔑 and Visit his home while sending your mail. Buy a Postcard there while you're at it. I Went Here All The Time 2007-09

While their services are limited (and I wish that should be disclosed online) I’ve had many positive experiences at this location on Market in sold City. I frequently send packages from here and have never had any issues. Until today. I don’t know what her name was but the woman I spoke this afternoon was very rude and unhelpful. She insisted that they could not mail my package (the same package I ship all the time). I asked if perhaps there were new rules? Or on ALL of my previous experiences people may have let it slide? She was unwilling to give a response and demanded I go to another location. Will never be returning and wouldn’t recommend, I went to the location on Chestnut and had zero issues. Jasmin was very helpful.

They keep the front window shutters closed to deter customers. I was then informed that the label printer might not work….and it didn’t. Is it the worst usps in the area? Maybe not but the bar is soooo low.

Miserable, staff. No capacity to send certified mail. More or less a glorified mailbox.

Worst post office in the city. Don’t go here if you actually have any important issues or questions. Staff is unhelpful, and generally unpleasant. This is a tourist photo op, other than that a disgrace to the USPS.

Went to inquire about a missing package. Got nothing but unprofessional attitude from Jasmin. She was BEYOND rude and unhelpful and very defenseive when I brought up the missing package. USPS has an INSANE internal theft problem and are 0 help in even giving information. No number to call, no process to follow, just unprofessional attitude and back talk. She needs fired yesterday. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION

Sign on the door said they were at lunch. There was a guy in the empty office who said he’d been waiting 40 minutes. Unacceptable.

Clerks are always rude if they speak to you at all, my favorite is when i ask them to hand cancel and they hand the stamp to me then ask me to pay them for the work i did myself while they sit on their phone

Come here to have a lovely lady hand-stamp your postcards with Thomas Jefferson‘s signature stamp canceller. Can‘t speak to its merits as a full-service post office but it‘s certainly nice for this.

So the lady behind the desk didn’t have the best attitude for work at first but we just kept smiling and being nice to her and she was really fun to talk to. We mailed some post cards and she postmarked them from this location. We had a great experience.

The worst costumer service experience at any USPS, and it was empty. I had a prepaid label with a older date, they made this an excuse to not print a receipt for me because it was over 24 hrs. I have many times not dropping of a package post 24 hrs of the label, not once before have I been given this issue. Researched on USPS website, and nothing listed either. On the other hand found that a label is good for up to 28 days, which I am under. The work hours listed on the website don't coordinate with the real time. Visited the place 3 times this week, all these times they were "Out for Lunch" at 3.30 pm-4 pm. Other times just find it closed at random hours of the day, so we can't relay on this location as our neighborhood USPS.

I walked in. The lady was on her cell phone have av personal conversation. Didn’t speak or ask how can I help you. If should would have I wouldn’t wasted my time packaging up my item to be mailed because it’s over 13 ounces. Instead when I was done packaging my item she greeted me with im on debit or credit.

This might be the worst post office I’ve ever been to lol. Why are you still closed at 10am?
