If you say the hours are 9-5 the doors should be unlocked at 9. Waited outside for 7 minutes for the doors to be open. Completely ridiculous. Very disappointed.

Don't offer redelivery if you're incapable of doing it. It's a feature that's handy for us disabled folks and people with families who are busy and old folks who are too sick to come to the door.Just take the option away if you're incapable of performing it. It's not that hard.

"No sales" at this location. That's a new one. They direct you to 1939 Fairmount Ave, where you'll meet a line moving at a glacial pace with no self-service machine.

This location is just like any other USPS I have visited in the area. Slightly understaffed as service is a little slower than what we are trained to expect by large corporate stores-- but USPS is a part of the Federal Government so my expectations are low based on current funding and resources provided to them. The entrance is a little confusing, as it's towards the side street and the door is a little hard to open in this old building. It's grey inside and feels a bit dingy. I would love for thie neighborhood resource to receive and update ASAP.Staff was kind and respectful of me.

Zero stars if I could. Our mailbox got filled while we were out of town for a week. The postman said to go to this location to pick up our mail on hold. We went and they were completely clueless. Refused to get up and even check if the mail was on hold. Said that as long as we emptied our mailbox it would start up again. Two months later and we have been having issues with missing mail ever since. They had to the nerve to be rude and yell at us for being “irresponsible” for letting our mail fill up in the first place and “not thinking” about it. Well finally we got fed up and called USPS directly. Turns out we needed to fill out a form to get our mail started again and they should be holding it for up to 10 days. I was patient with her screaming at me when I thought she knew what she was talking about. But now??? I’m absolutely furious. They’re the idiots for being so arrogant about wrong information for 2 months, not us. And even so. Yelling and being disrespectful towards customers is a terrible thing to do. Zero. Stars.

Had a great experience dropping off the package last Wednesday. Both ladies were extremely friendly and helpful!

person at the counter mocked me for trying to show my ID to get a package (they have a sign that says you need to show ID, like you do at every other functioning post office)

The service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced! They lost a package - though they claim they delivered it - and were entirely unapologetic about their not being able to perform a simple delivery! I am done with using this USPS location, this is the final straw after having them loose 4 packages this year alone.

Nice place to buy what you need, without waiting in long lines. Good service!

The lead Manager Ms. Pat is arrogant She screams at her workers and consumers. This unprofessional and disrespectfulness should not be tolerated. She stole a iPhone that she knew a worker was looking for and then the next day it reappeared.I am a black professional women and I am appalled that some women who get a little power, don't know how to act. The Post Office needs to investigate what goes on in the working environment of the Post Office this is exactly why it is a large turn around for workers who really want to work. The ghetto-ness has to stop Ladies. The Manager or supervisor Ms. Stacy in Huntington whom I can tell Ms. Pat and her are friends will set up new probation employees to fail. They allow others supervisors to cuss and scream at you. I am definitely calling for the help of Action News.Sincerely,Disgusted

Visiting from out of town and needed to drop something off. I double parked (my fault) but the way one of their delivery person came to my car so aggressively screaming like she had no control of herself was unprofessional! I see why they’re so much killing in Philadelphia! Some just don’t know to to treat others. To believe she’s an government employee is sad!

It is the absolute lack of customer service for me.Got an alert that a package could not be delivered due to "No Access to Delivery Location"... mind you it's just a gate with a handle. So I decided to look at my camera to see what happened. The driver looked at the gate, did not attempt to open it, and turned around immediately. Didn't leave a deliver attempt (it's an international package) or anything.I called the location non-stop for 3hours and they don't pick up the phone. Literally redialed back to back to back....This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this same thing as happened. How can i schedule a pickup if the location doesn't pick up the phone.I've has issues with this location the entire 4 years I've lived in the area.Do these drivers not realized everybody basically has a camera at this point... like I literally saw you just stand in front of the game... didn't touch it. didn't attempt... didn't even try to toss it over the gate or push it under or through one of the slots... nothing

I unfortunately live on the same block and there are constantly mail trucks parked on the street, even though they have a whole parking area. They park in crosswalks, in front of hydrants, in bus zones, and on the sidewalks. There's already no parking in this area, and they just make it that much more impossible to park or even exist here. PPA won't ticket them of course, so they do whatever they want. Here's a photo from today, when they parked in a crosswalk, bus zone, and in front of a hydrant at the same time.

If you've ever wondered what a post office would look like if it was a dilapidated prison lacking resources, care, and technology, visit the Fairmount Distribution Center in Philadelphia. The saying "pictures speak a thousand words" applies to this review. The direct phone number is (215) 235-3091. You can attempt to call. The chances of someone answering are about 25%. They'll take packages that are prepaid and metered. There's no receipts. The services are EXTREMELY LIMITED. The staff is not pleasant, which is somewhat understandable from their surroundings. If you need most services from the post office, you need to go to a branch, such as the location on Fairmount Avenue- a five minute drive. Parking is scarce at both locations.

I use this facility for drop offs. I was reluctant to leave bad review last year cause of Covid wanted to give them a chance but never improved, despite surrounded offices operating normally. I rely on this for business and theyve cost me money at this point having to compensate my customers for packages not arriving on time.Bottom line is it can take days for a package to even be scanned into the system, let alone leave the facility. These are PRIORITY 2-3 day delivery packages than can take 2-3 days just to say "accepted". Most recently dropped off on Monday 10am. I did not see movement on that package until Wednesday night when it finally said scanned into system. Totally unacceptable. I will be permanently switching to the post office down the road on fairmount who "fingers crossed" seems to have their act together.
