The owners and staff are super friendly, energetic, and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They go out of their way to provide a friendly atmosphere and a wonderful experience, often giving tours of the place and telling its history. The market has a nearly 100 year history and an eclectic selection of items. The inside and out are charming, filled with historic pictures and artwork. It is a place of great significance for fans of Mac Miller, who referenced it in a song and filmed early music videos nearby. The current owner takes great pride in the market, keeping a visitor's book for messages that is given to Mac Miller's mother. He enthusiastically welcomes visitors, shares stories about the neighborhood's history, and makes everyone feel like they have an exclusive inside look. The market offers a unique blend of great food, friendliness, and a deep, varied history that leaves visitors feeling fuller, both physically and mentally. Everything about this place is perfect. Dave is the nicest man ever. He is so excited to welcome out of town Mac Miller fans. He told me about all the locations around the store that other music videos were filmed and the history of the store itself.

Super great classic deli!!! A must visit if you go to the Frick! It's like an extension of the Frick house. Great home made soup!!
