Lowe's customer service is bottom of the barrel and pathetic. Read into the horror stories that company puts people through and take it serious. I have been very happy switching to Home Depot, and they have better deals anyways !”

“Stanford Home Center in Plum, PA is our go to store! Not only do they have everything you need for your home, but they do a lot for the community. The owner and staff members are friendly and helpful. They put on a great Christmas event for kids, bringing Santa in and letting the kids talk with him and get a photo. We love that this store is right down the road and we like to support locally owned businesses like Stanford.”

“I love busy beaver stores and this is very nice to have in Lawrenceville. They sell anything you may need even if it's not the biggest of their stores. A bonus is that it's rarely too busy. It's also one of the few places where I always find salt in winter when all the other stores around are out.The staff is hit or miss. I have met very good employees and probably a couple that were very slow and dragged out the check out too long. Overall a great place if you don't feel like going to the bigger stores like Home Depot and Lowe's.”

“8-17-2023.When I entered the Busy Beaver in Crafton, PA, Regina greeted me with a smile and eye contact. I asked her about the Deal of the Day, and she immediately showed it to me. I was blessed to be able to receive the Deal because it was a fantastic Mixed Hand Tool Set that was normally priced at $26 now at $5. Regina took care of me at the checkout quickly and professionally. She offered additional assistance and wished me a wonderful rest of my day. I recommend Regina and the Crafton Busy Beaver to family and friends. They were the only store with the Deal of the Day in stock within 50 miles of Weirton. “It would greatly benefit Home Depot to reduce the number of self-checkouts and increase the presence of workers at the front to assist with customer checkouts.While it may seem like society is becoming less inclined to work, Home Depot could consider offering discounts to customers who choose to scan their own items. However, it is crucial to address the issue of scanner malfunctions promptly, as waiting for assistance can be time-consuming and frustrating.Implementing a system similar to grocery stores, where workers scan the items for customers, would simplify the process and improve efficiency. Although technology continues to advance rapidly, it is important to strike a balance between automation and human assistance.While workers are undoubtedly helpful, it would be fair to give self-checkouts a two-star rating.”

“Had a pickup order that was split into multiple parts (some stuff was in stock in the store, and some was being shipped on separate days through separate shipping services). There was some technical issue that made the items appear as though they'd been picked up when they hadn't. The staff in the customer service counter was able to deal with it all 3 times I was there and were very quick about doing it. I spend all day dealing with technical issues, so I always appreciate what a pain it is and how well they handled it. Great staff”
