The store also has a fair amount of inventory and it's hard to imagine them not having what you need. Lumber is expensive here, as with most companies/stores like this. It's ok for one piece, but you may want to look elsewhere for your lumber needs.”

“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. “I haven't been to a hardware store like this since I was a little kid and going to the hardware store with my Dad. I walked in and their was two people working the counter. As soon as you walk in they ask how they can help you. I described what I was looking for and they went and grabbed it for me. I happened to be in town for a trade show and we needed paper towels, a degreaser cleaner, Allen wrench set, and sand paper. Within a few minutes they gathered everything I needed and I paid. Then I had to wait for an UBER driver to get back to the convention center and I watched customers walk in and describe what they needed and the two guys working the counter just kept grabbing what was needed and checking people out. It was so efficient and I actually found it fascinating to watch these customers come and go with such efficiency. Very cool.”

“I love busy beaver stores and this is very nice to have in Lawrenceville. They sell anything you may need even if it's not the biggest of their stores. A bonus is that it's rarely too busy. It's also one of the few places where I always find salt in winter when all the other stores around are out.The staff is hit or miss. I have met very good employees and probably a couple that were very slow and dragged out the check out too long. Overall a great place if you don't feel like going to the bigger stores like Home Depot and Lowe's.”

“Wonderful, overall experience, especially since this was my first experience. A friend recommended them, and I’m glad he did. I began working with one of the associates, who explained everything about the company’s services in full detail and was willing to work with me and the equipment I needed, despite it being a smaller order. When the gentleman left the company, another associate took over my account and honored the contract I had in place, even though I later found out, it was not the correct amount that should have been charged. Upon pick-up, Jeff and Greg were both knowledgeable and great in answering all of my questions and explaining how I can do preventative maintenance on the equipment, to keep everything in top condition.
