Salik Hardware is a genuine, old-fashioned, fourth generation hardware store and a Pittsburgh institution that has been in Homewood for decades. It is a great, small, black owned business with a diverse inventory and a bit of everything. The staff are super nice, incredibly helpful, experienced, and knowledgeable gentlemen who provide incredible customer service. They offer good conversation and do not try to upsell. Customers are treated with great care regardless of purchase size. For any home project, from tools and supplies to specialized repairs, Salik Hardware is a highly recommended, definite go-to place. Patronizing this local store supports a valuable community business.
