“This store is incredible, the staff are great, and everywhere you look in here you see something you want to buy! Neca, Super 7, DC, Marvel, they have it all, and you will be rewarded for digging around in bins and shuffling through their huge aisle of carded vintage figs. Absolutely one of the best comics and collectible shops in Pittsburgh!”

“I could spend all day in this place. The fact that they have a little café makes it all the more welcoming of a spot to kill some time and of course there’s always something good to read to take home with you.”

“Solid shop. Great selection of back issues and prices. Staff is always friendly and helpful. In addition to comics, they also have games and a plethora of other pop culture items.”

“Have shopped here several times and everybody is always sooo sweet and knowledgeable and happy to help. Sometimes they even ask me what groups or photocards I’m looking for so they can help. Great selection of kpop albums (very organized) and all things kawaii. I have gotten several of my friends to shop here because I love it so much. I had a minor issue with a purchase I made recently and the staff seriously went above and beyond to correct it even though it was something out of their control to begin with! I would have given them a 5 star review any day but I needed to shoutout to whoever helped me because customer service in general always makes me anxious but they did not make me feel that way. I could not recommend this business enough. Support local businesses! ?”

“This place is great! I don't know how it had survived for all these years, but i an glad it has! You can get all sorts of fun stuff for kids, or for adults who still act like kids. I've been coming here for 40 years!”

“Such a fun and adorable toy store! Learning Express is packed with so many unique and creative gifts — the kind of stuff you just don’t find in big box stores. Everything is so colorful and inviting, and you can tell it’s a place that really sparks kids’ imaginations.

We stopped by with my friend’s baby, and she loved the puppets! I actually caught the cutest video of my daughter’s best friend playing with one and cracking up — it had everyone smiling. We were this close to buying one, but $40 for a single puppet felt a little pricey. Still, the quality looked amazing, and they had such a fun selection to choose from.

If you have little ones or need a gift idea for a birthday, definitely check this store out. The staff was super friendly and the whole place just gives off happy vibes. My kids are all grown now, so walking through there made me a little nostalgic ? but it’s such a great spot for families with younger kiddos.”

“Really cool toy store. Has a ton of vintage toys that I remember from growing up! They also had a lot of glass shelves and jewelry. I would definitely keep your eyes on your young kids so they don't break anything.”

“I have been shopping with Diaper Depot pretty much exclusively for over 2 years. They’ve been such a huge part of our everyday life, our holidays, our memories. I send all my friends and family to them as well when it comes to them needing anything natural. During this time, I’ve found such an incredible support system through their Facebook group, and I can’t begin to describe how happy I am that I came upon this shop a few months into my cloth diapering journey. The owners have begun to feel more like family that business owners. They never hesitate to include a gift note or a silly message, their shipping is super fast and it’s FREE for ANY order over $10, they give freebies with orders over $39, and they go out of their way to try and find print placements or whatever I ask for. As a business owner myself, I have taken a lot away from watching the way they run their business. Michelle and Jeff make the world a better place one package at a time.”

“Small store packed with lots of toys and gifts to choose from. Good options for all age ranges and reasonably priced for most items. They have a variety of toys, board games, trading card games, dice, legos, anime figures, nerdy decor, gemstones, keychains, stuffed animals and more. The staff were nice and helpful. There is no parking lot so you have to park on the street or park nearby and walk.”

“I got these really cute dotted cups/ martini cups that I'm gonna use as ice cream bowls that are sold at Anthropologie for so cheap! We also bought some bug spray and realized the spray nozzle is broken when we got home... grrr. The cashier was very nice. This store is a hit or miss. Look at the kitchen and rug section and avoid the others”

“We took our daughter to pick a new friend for her 6th birthday on Nov 1st, and it was a wonderful experience! Thank you to Soren Allen and Jason for making our daughter feel special while there was a birthday party going on and typical Saturday crowds! She loves her new friend!”

“Went there for pokemon tcg because I was in the area. I typically frequent the McKnight store. But this was a nice store. They had good stock of things. The girl working at the time was very helpful and greeted everyone as they came in, asking if they needed any help, including myself. She even helped he get an extra 5 dollars off using my points. Great experience. Will definitely go back.”

“A wonderful place! It is a true classic downtown toy store. Not a big box store. There are things for sale here than can not be found elsewhere. If you need a dose of Christmas, go to the Department 56 satrap next to the steps.”

“Nice people work here. I shop here because it is easy to get to for me. Amazing prices. The toy section could have a better selection, but it was still a nice selection for all ages. School supplies, cleaning supplies, a quick TV dinner and a few more for the deep freezer?. Cups, plates, cutlery, party stuff, candy, you name it they have it in some form. These places really are great. So what if the product isn't always the greatest? Remember, you paid a dollar and some change for it. At least you still got something right? Anyways, rant over. Great places, nice workers, you should definitely check them out if you are in the area!”

“Went today to buy an Xbox X Controller and only 1 employee on duty (Devin). I overheard him mention 2 others called off today. He had a difficult return to manage and a long line of customers forming. He quickly started to ring people up on a 2nd register while trying to find a solution for the return.

While he could not meet the requests of the person requesting a return, he was very helpful & polite while rapidly getting through the lines of direct purchases.

In each of the transactions, he took a direct interest in their purchase making specific recommendations (not just sale pitches) to what would benefit them AND why it would benefit them.

Devin, I apologize if I am misspelling your name, there are a lot of variations on the comments below and no shortage of once singing your praise. This reinforces this as your status-quo and I hope your senior mgmt. takes notice. Great job sir.”
