And most importantly this is a great place for my wife to play and feel welcome which has more value than I can express in this limited space. “Really awesome spot to pick up gifts! I stopped by because of the cute Gritty plush in the window but there's so much more than that. Housewares, candles, jewelry, toiletries, and kids stuff... I like their selection of BAGGU and Blue Q. Staff are helpful and can do gift bags. Items are affordable too. My boyfriend's mom loved what we picked for her!”

“Fantastic hot chicken at a great price. The coleslaw was delicious but the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were just ok. However, we really went for the chicken, so we were disappointed. The biscuits were delicious too, but real honey (rather than high frustose concoction) or packets of jam would have made them perfect. Overall, surprised at how good it was!”

“Can't go wrong with an Admiral's club, even if it is a small one in Terminal F of the Philly airport. I was surprised they even had one here, and considering I had two hour lay over, why not. The refreshments were decent as well as the food. Not a large spread but just enough for a few hours to chill before final leg home.”

“*update*The manager reached out to me. After a very good conversation; she was able to locate the game for me and apologized for my trouble. It refreshing to see someone take responsibility for a customer’s experience.I don’t know what’s more incredible GameStop’s ability to constantly disappoint me or me giving them additional chances. While looking for a copy of Pokémon Sword plus Expansion I was told that this store had a copy in stock. I called the store and a gentleman answers and tells me that they do have it in stock. I drive down and then I’m told that they don’t have it. The African American gentleman with braids then attempts to explain to me that had I used the online tool I would’ve been able to check inventory and not waste time. I explained to him the online tool doesn’t work for this specific game hence why I CALLED and drove down to this section of the city. His response is oh then if you want to waste gas driving around that’s your choice. I tell him it’s not a waste of gas had he actually given me accurate information. His response is for me to just buy it digitally.”

“I love BY...My son is now 29 and I shopped here for him when he was a baby! I have read quite a lot of the reviews on here and all I can say is that I have never had anything but a wonderful and positive experience shopping here!The last time I was in here shopping for my great nieces and nephew they stayed open for me way past the time when they were supposed to close...About 45 minutes past closing time and I never felt rushed...I kept apologizing and asking if it was ok, they were so patient and helpful and said it was no problem...To the woman who was insulted when the sales person asked her if she wanted her to place her items at the counter/register they do that with me too...That's kind of a standard thing in the retail/boutique industry. I was in it for many years and I would have offered the same thing if I saw someone with their arms full.I find it hard to shop when I have a lot of clothes and hangers in my arms...I have never once felt like it was anything but them trying to be helpful and free my hands and hold the items so no one else would take them...Yes, the clothes are pricey but you get what you pay for! I have never had anything fall apart as one reviewer wrote which is unfortunate but knowing how they are I am sure they would have allowed an exchange or a store credit or return back to the original form of payment if applicable...I will continue to shop here for many years to come and I understand that it may be out of people's budgets but they do have sales and I believe there is something here for everybody...These are beautifully made clothes and they could be passed down to lucky and fortunate siblings or cousins or friends to wear after your little person has outgrown them...Also, don't forget you are shopping in downtown Philly in Rittenhouse which is an area that has great restaurants and is it itself one of the nicest areas in Philly so this store fits rights into the neighborhood...I can't wait to shop there again!Lastly, I would say that their sales staff is one of the nicest, most helpful that I have ever encountered and I worked in the retail industry my whole life so don't shy away from shopping there!! We left, I called the Police when I got in my car. Two times after that theft occurred. Now your business is boarded up because of the looting, it doesn't make it feel safe there.”

“I was looking up things to do in Philadelphia during my brief visit and....the reviews on this store crack me up. For anyone who doesn't know, merchandise like this (Sanrio, rilakkuma/korilakkuma, etc) is going to be pretty pricey anywhere besides Japan. Coming from the Bay Area, the prices here were pretty reasonable. The owner (I'm assuming) was kindly reminding all who came in to hand sanitize as all the guests were touching the items. I ended up picking a cute coin purse I've never seen before of my favorite character from this stop. Tips: * It's a little warm inside so be prepared for that. I was sweating when I left after a quick stop in. * They require ID if you pay with credit card. Highly recommend stopping by if you like cute Japanese wares!”
