I really like their lawn and garden products, they are competitive with the large stores but so much easier to find and purchase. They also offer service ,recommendations and help finding what you need. I just entered the world of pellet smoker cooking and they gave an overwhelming aisle of products.”

DMI can be initially intimidating to non Tradesmen and at times, It can feel like one is on their own or being judged there, but this is more of a Blue Collar Delco thing than anything personal I think. DMI is superior to Do It Best in many ways and I will often go to DMI before a big box store. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, but the OG older employees are very matter of fact and not chatty kinds of people. It’s best to know what you want, although you can honestly ask them all you need to, but they are expected to be upfront at the registers, so they can seem abrupt. Younger workers there are more patient. Once I realized all this, my experience there improved.The lumber selection and prices are good. Definitely Better than Do It Best and the quality usually (not always price) is better typically than Big Box Stores. Don’t take anything personally, they are just old school Delco types (from my perspective). I recommend them.”

“The place was organized the store was well lit the staff was fast n helpful. They had what i needed and knew how to locate the item swiftly. The prices where ok. The parking seem to be my only problem. I had to park in a bus only zone and run in and out wich with the stores help I was in and out but there's no parking only on the side streets wich are always packed. All in all the experience here was ok no hassles waits or worries.”

“Love the place but had a return, damaged product and they told me I had to take it to another store because they didn't have a replacement. Other wise I would have to pay restocking fee even tho it was damaged. It was a big piece of equipment I had to rent a trailer,when I got to the first store I took it off the trailer,I had asked the day before what to do and they said bring it in anytime,had to put it back on the trailer ,got charged more for the trailer because it took longer,I was frustrated over the whole deal”
