“Spectacular customer service! I had contractors scheduled to work on my deck and I forgot to order plugs and screws for my Trex decking (I was providing all of the supplies for the project). I needed to find the plugs that day for the contractors. I found Wehrung's through a retailer search on the Trex website and gave them a call. They didn't have any at their Collegeville location, but had a supply order being transferred from one of their other locations that afternoon. They were able to get me the supplies I needed that very day! Thank you Max and the Wehrung team. You have a customer for life.”

I don't think I have seen a warranty backed by a store like this since Craftsman many years ago with Sears. “Always a pleasant encounter at Upper Darby Hardware. The staff is helpful with both service and suggestions for alternative solutions. Prices are often lower than the chain home improvement centers. Handicapped parking can be a challenge as there are limited spaces directly in front of the store.”
“Fairmount Hardware is a neighborhood institution, with good reason. Dave, the owner, goes out of his way to help non-professionals with their projects, large and small. He wired a lamp for me, he also cut glass to put in a frame I had, saving me the expense of having a framer do it.
I think he tries to impart to the young people he hires to work in the hardware store as much of his wisdom as possible. Yesterday, he instructed a young trainee as to how to remove a bit of rust on a porcelain plaque I brought in.
Today, another trainee made a great suggestion as to how I might attach the plaque to a Target basket with wingbolt nuts and butterfly screws, rather than the furniture nails I’d bought the day before.
The clerk at the cash register gave me a credit for the unused furniture nails I had bought the day before and deducted the cost of the two wingbolt nut and screws —you cannot get better service than that anywhere.

“Great local hardware store, with a good selection of paint colors to choose from. I stopped by just for paint, and the employee who helped me was very nice. I appreciated not being overly talked to, and he was quick with getting my paint all mixed together. It's nice to have a store in the neighborhood that's easy to walk to.”

It's nice to keep the resource of having a neighborhood hardware in business so I check here before go to a big store or the internet. Plus they actually have people to help you and they pretty much have everything and at comprable prices. “If you're looking for a Benjamin Moore paint store in the Philly suburbs, you Must come to this store!!! I traveled from West Chester to Bridgeport to buy paint from these guys.Price: Unbeatable!!! This store was about $15 less than all the other stores in my area. Not only were they cheaper, they gave me a painter's discount and a free t-shirt... I love t-$hirts but I love them even more when they're free.Service: Outstanding!!! The staff here is exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you nor trick you into buying things you don't need. You can ask a million and one questions and they will answer them all and still leave you with some genius advice you never thought of. When you come here for the first time you'll feel like you've been coming here forever. “Great Rental Service. I rented two machines from Diamond Tool- A 60 foot boom lift then later a 32 ft scissor lift. Both machines worked great and got the job done safely and efficiently. “Been working on some large new construction and renovation projects in the area with Greg Favano. Could not be more pleased with the relationship we have built with Cooper through Greg. He is extremely responsive, quick to get pricing, request clarification and even suggest value engineering where it seems appropriate. His efforts to work with me and my team have left us feeling a sincere sense of comfort knowing that when an order is placed, its handled and we don't ever need to follow up. This location has been timely with deliveries and quick to help settle and billing discrepancies that arise, few though they have been. The only wish I have with this location is that they would deal with Square D equipment as these seem to be the standard our engineers differ to. Other than that, we greatly appreciate the hard work performed by Cooper and its associates like Greg.”
