“I like going to the dollar general store..I find a lot of things I didn't even know they have.. This time though, I guess it was restocking day because there were a lot of boxes all over the place. It looked a little sloppy.. I still like going there.”

“Great local supermarket, and great sandwich’s at their deli for very good prices. You’ll receive twice the amount of meat (and better quality) in your sandwich than you’d get at a Wawa.
They also have a hot food/soup/salad bar
which saves me time when I don’t feel like cooking, but want a home style option.
The people in these reviews complaining about prices are mostly elderly folks that aren’t used to inflationary prices, or they are comparing prices to Walmart - which is unfair.”

“I only buy my meats from here. Excellent cuts, friendly helpful staff. As usual for small commissary selection is limited but Evan is always willing to bring things in for customers. Nearly every need can be addressed, you just have to ask! Always clean and presentable even as old as the building is they take great care of the place.”
“We’re in the area for a week on vacation and needed to stock up on food for our temporary home. This market had all we needed. There’s a Walmart nearby, but I prefer a dedicated grocery store even if a regional chain. The staff here was friendly and available and the selection was more than adequate with reasonable prices. Location is convenient for where we’re staying also.”
“This may sound strange but the gas station at the Tannersville location is amazing! I've been to a place where you are greeted every time you show up. On their busier days, they might not greet me immediately but you can bet that before I leave I'll get a hello. The area is always clean and the pump screens are wiped down. It's a plus that you get gas points from shopping at Weis. A few times, I've needed help and the attendant was at the pump even before I walked to the window. It's this type of service that makes me look forward to coming here every chance I get .”

“Came by today to return a product I bought at a PX across state lines. The person attending me was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. He gave me no trouble at all. This place also has a good selection of beer, liquors and wines if that's your thing!”
“There are long at times because people don't realize your car can be placed at any pump. Regardless of what side your gas cap is on. Their gas fill hose stretches to either side. Just pull the hose to the other side of
car and rest it on back of car if you don't want to hold it and pump the gas. The pumps are ambidextrous, lol.”
“Amazing experience!!! They gave us a tour that my boy's still talk about. Syrup and maple butter lasted only for a moment in our home. Heading back for a case. This family and their farm is Outstanding!!! Worth a visit, field trip... love, love, love!!! Forever customer's!!!!”

“I would like to take a moment to recognize Jonathan, one of your cashiers at Giant, for the incredible experience he gave me.
This was my first time shopping at Giant, and I honestly walked away feeling so welcomed and appreciated because of him. Jonathan was one of the friendliest, most genuine, and kind cashiers I have ever met. His attitude, customer service, and positive energy made such an impression on me that I can confidently say I will be shopping at Giant much more often.
I have been a ShopRite customer for years, but after this experience, I may never look back. It is rare to come across someone who makes a simple grocery trip feel like a great experience. Jonathan is truly an asset to your store.
I sincerely hope Giant recognizes how valuable he is and makes sure he is being compensated accordingly. Employees like Jonathan are the reason customers come back. He is an absolute angel and deserves to know that his kindness does not go unnoticed.

“The deli in this gas station is amazing! The sandwiches were fantastic, bread was nice and soft and there was a perfect amount of mayo on there. Macaroni salad was delicious too. They should definitely advertise better, I didn't even know there was a deli in there until I stopped to get gas one day. Stroudsburg is seriously lacking in good delis and I'm extremely happy to find out about this one. I highly recommend!”

“The Dollar General store in question is generally satisfactory, with courteous staff. However, I must deduct one star due to the disorganization observed in certain aisles.”
“I've been coming here forever. It's the smaller of our two local markets. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger organic section but it's a small store so they do what they can with the space they have, I guess. There produce section can be hit or miss as well but for the most part it's a great store.”
“I love this bakery! The cakes are always perfect and the decorators always do an amazing job! April is so sweet and accommodating! I will only go here for my family’s cakes!”

“Well the hot bar today had meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. I love meatloaf but I am a fish and chicken eater these days. I tried it and this is the third time. It's a home run and scalloped potatoes, delicious. I'm not going to make it from scratch, I will let them make it. Got to give them credit, they did a good job.”
“You have to shop smart, even though this is a club and they all claim to be cheaper and better than regular stores, you still have to do the math and also think about are you going to use it all before it expires or it's really not a deal if you have to throw out some of it.”

“Yesterday and today the Store is looking alot better!! You could never get down half the isles in this store because 2-3 cages of merchandise in each isle today there was barely any cages throughout the store and if so you could actually get around and down every isle. The new manager Jim is doing an excellent job!!”
