“I like going to the dollar general store..I find a lot of things I didn't even know they have.. This time though, I guess it was restocking day because there were a lot of boxes all over the place. It looked a little sloppy.. I still like going there.”

“There are long at times because people don't realize your car can be placed at any pump. Regardless of what side your gas cap is on. Their gas fill hose stretches to either side. Just pull the hose to the other side of
car and rest it on back of car if you don't want to hold it and pump the gas. The pumps are ambidextrous, lol.”
“Great local supermarket, and great sandwich’s at their deli for very good prices. You’ll receive twice the amount of meat (and better quality) in your sandwich than you’d get at a Wawa.
They also have a hot food/soup/salad bar
which saves me time when I don’t feel like cooking, but want a home style option.
The people in these reviews complaining about prices are mostly elderly folks that aren’t used to inflationary prices, or they are comparing prices to Walmart - which is unfair.”
“I only buy my meats from here. Excellent cuts, friendly helpful staff. As usual for small commissary selection is limited but Evan is always willing to bring things in for customers. Nearly every need can be addressed, you just have to ask! Always clean and presentable even as old as the building is they take great care of the place.”

“It’s one of my favorite grocery stores in the area! They have much nicer produce than the giant in east Stroudsburg, and better selection across the board. For ethic/international food options we prefer to support our small local grocery stores though. (They are amazing and super helpful!)”

“Stopped in Sunday with a friend to do her regular grocery shopping. Found everything we needed and headed to the register. Before we could pick an open lane, a gentleman came to the end of the lane and called us over. We started moving our stuff to the belt and the cashier, whose name we learned is Patrick, started chatting with us.
He was ringing up the items and bagging them quickly and expertly. His bagging was the highest quality I have seen from any cashier at any store in quite some time. He wasted no space in each bag but not a single one was overloaded.
His personality absolutely made our day. Patrick was super polite, very chatty but didn't slow down the bagging process. Numerous customers passing by, along with some in line behind us all seemed to know Patrick. Every one of them was so happy to see him and say hi to him. It was easy to see why he was so popular.
Patrick is a fantastic cashier and a genuinely nice guy. We will absolutely be coming in again in hopes of seeing Patrick again.”

“The deli in this gas station is amazing! The sandwiches were fantastic, bread was nice and soft and there was a perfect amount of mayo on there. Macaroni salad was delicious too. They should definitely advertise better, I didn't even know there was a deli in there until I stopped to get gas one day. Stroudsburg is seriously lacking in good delis and I'm extremely happy to find out about this one. I highly recommend!”
“Well the hot bar today had meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. I love meatloaf but I am a fish and chicken eater these days. I tried it and this is the third time. It's a home run and scalloped potatoes, delicious. I'm not going to make it from scratch, I will let them make it. Got to give them credit, they did a good job.”
“I've been coming here forever. It's the smaller of our two local markets. The store is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I wish they had a larger organic section but it's a small store so they do what they can with the space they have, I guess. There produce section can be hit or miss as well but for the most part it's a great store.”

“Yesterday and today the Store is looking alot better!! You could never get down half the isles in this store because 2-3 cages of merchandise in each isle today there was barely any cages throughout the store and if so you could actually get around and down every isle. The new manager Jim is doing an excellent job!!”

“Always clean and well-stocked! I had a very stressful situation with WIC, but both the cashier and Crystal were incredibly patient, kind, and helpful while we worked through everything. They never rushed me and made the whole experience so much easier. You definitely gained a loyal customer, when both the staff and management show that level of care and compassion, it says a lot about the work culture. You’re clearly doing something right!”
