“This was a beautiful two floor location, very clean, organized and friendly helpful staff! There were some great clearance sales and as always a selection of books, gifts, journals everything a bookworm loves ❤️”
“Great selection! I love that they carry books that you don't see at corporate chains like B&N, whoever stocks those shelves knows that they're doing. I'll definitely be back.”
“The new Barnes & Noble in town! Great addition to Bryn Mawr.
Just watch that grate/pothole as you drive in ?? you'll lose a wheel on that thing”
“Been going to this wonderful bookstore for several years and with the new addition children’s section, it is just amazing. I literally cannot wait to go back with my children so they can pick their chapter books for summer.! Beautiful selection of books and wonderful small town vibe. The staff were very friendly today, which I certainly appreciated and the gorgeous dollhouse to look at as well did not hurt! Thank you for an uplifting experience.”
“The women who were closing tonight (5/16) were amazing. We needed to find Henny Penny for a baby shower in the morning. Unfortunatly we were the ones walking in right before closing. They ended up staying a little late to make sure we had exactly what we needed. We're extremely appreciative of their help!”
“A lovely independent book shop with many different books rather than what one might usually find in a book shop...
So glad we had an opportunity to visit this shop...”
“This bookstore boutique was such a surprise! Excellent, curated collection of science fiction classics, fantasy, and romantic, including less well known authors and special editions. They have a big section of dungeon & dragons items, including custom dice. What really wowed me were the bookshelf craft kits and amazing quilled greeting cards, some of which were truly works of art. Great, helpful staff , too. Everything you need in an excellent little bookstore. I walked through the Dick's outside entrance to find it easily (as they were the first store when I excited the other side into the mall)”
“I frequently visit Barnes and Noble at Lawrence Park Shopping Center. It's a wecoming place. I am always there for books, beautiful Christmas Cards ( the only place I purchase my holiday cards), magazines, adorable stuffed animals, unusual games, and a great children's section.
The staff is always helpful finding or ordering a book for me. Clean and open. Whenever I'm at Lawrence Park, which is weekly, I wonder into Barnes and Noble.”
“Is staffed by friendly volunteers. It's the only shop in Valley Forge for lunch (sandwiches, hot dogs, etc.), snacks, beverages, and souvenirs. Homemade baked goods are delicious, very reasonable priced. There are tables both inside and outside to sit and enjoy your snacks. It is also a site for official drop off box for worn American flags. Parking is available at Washington Chapel lot. Hidden gem for a nice break, at the end of your tour of Valley Forge.”
“I love coming here! There's a really wide array of picture/middle grade/YA books (and even some books for adults too!) and the store is always decorated so nicely. The staff is very kind as well. A truly wonderful place to be!”
“They were very helpful. As soon as I walked and I was greeted and asked if I needed help. The employee knew what books I was referring to and went right to it. I asked about the other books to the series and she grabbed them all.”

“I love shopping for books at Moore Books! Whether browsing the diverse selection for a random pick or requesting a special order, they are awesome. Love the ambience too and nice staff!”
“A treasure trove of all kinds of vintage and old books. There’s an entire of true antique books from 19th century and earlier. Notable is a collection from art and architecture books. Note the shop is closed on Sundays. There’s very little ventilation inside but it’s really not a problem when you find a book you like”

“I randomly stopped in the bookshop this morning as I was walking through town and I am so glad I did. Celia's is a cozy, inviting place with a great variety of books. I loved the personalized selections written by the various staff members under their favorite books. I plan on bringing my kids next time I go. Highly recommend checking it out!”
“I love this bookshop! it’s a cute and cozy place…and i’ve been making it a point to support local businesses and not relying on amazon before they run out all local bookstores and drive their book prices up. If they don’t have the book you need then you can ask them to order it for you!”
“Really nice bookstore but aside from a couple on sale items, the prices were crazy high. My son is going to another university and there was no comparison. Staff are great. It's right next to a Univ. Starbucks.”
“I absolutely adore this store and have been a frequent shopper since we moved to the area last year. The staff are AMAZING! They are so sweet and accommodating and hugely helpful when finding books or toys. I buys all of my kids toys here and they LOVE this store. The selection is incredible and perfectly curated to have wonderful options for everyone (especially diverse selection of POC authors!). The owner is fantastic and has saved us TWICE when my son left his lovey in her store. She knows my name and is so kind every time we go. Honestly nothing beats supporting this incredible local business. This sweet women even put his lovey in a bag with my name on it when she found it because she recognize that it was my sons. 100 stars ?”
“Love popping in here between classes—there’s always something new, whether it’s a cozy hoodie or a fun gift for a friend. The staff are super helpful and make grabbing textbooks way less stressful. It’s got that welcoming campus vibe that makes you want to linger.”
“Fantastic place to visit. The staff at the visitor center was very helpful. Answered any and all questions on the park as well as Philadelphia in general. Very worth while to relax and take the trolley tour.”
“Excellent shop that packs a lot of goodies into a perfect little store. Plenty of convenience items like laundry soap, snacks, books, art supplies, notebooks, Swarthmore swag and more. Helpful staff, clean and tidy. A very pleasant shopping experience.”
“Not only a great college bookstore, but a great independent bookstore period - it even has a curated "new release" section. A wonderful selection of (mostly) fair-trade gifts, and a superb array of cards/stationery, too!”
“Very cool bookstore! We walked in from the downpour right before closing and were greeted by the nicest people. We perused the vast amount of books for a very small space; and beautiful selection of cards. Since they were closing and we didn’t have an umbrella, the owner offered us hers. She even went out to her car to get it! She went above and beyond to help us out! If we lived closer we would visit this bookstore more frequently.”
