“We had our daughter's 4th birthday here and it was amazing! The staff handled everything for us with the setup, serving, and cleanup during the party. We invited her class and family. She was so happy! They have a huge multiple level jungle gym that the kids can explore, multiple bounce houses, and a huge inflatable slide that brought a smile from ear to ear on our little girl! At the end, everything was packed up ready to go for us. It was a great experience!”

Grace was our coordinator and she was amazing every single step of the way & was such a big help to me during the planning and kept me super organized and on track. Her and Ashley helped me on my wedding day and they were the absolute best at making the day go smoothly and perfectly for me and my fiancé. Our guests raved about the food and had amazing things to say about all the staff members. While it poured in our wedding day, they all supported us in still doing our ceremony outside and were willing to get soaked with us to make it happen!!! I can’t recommend them more. “We LOVED our experience at Terrain. My husband I got married here in November 2023 and have nothing but good things to say about it. The service was outstanding, our coordinator (Paige) and bridal attendant (Maggie) were exceptional, and the space was perfect! We knew we would be in good hands but felt truly at ease on our wedding day as it all came into place. The food was fantastic and the overall atmosphere was exactly the 'boho chic' vibe we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend! If I could do it all again, I absolutely would.”

“I enjoyed the visit here, I expected more when comparing it to similar area attractions. The most enjoyable areas were the vegetable garden and butterfly gardens. The maze was simple and fun for the little ones. They also enjoyed the various tree houses/forts throughout the park. The native woodland walk was the least impressive part of our visit. It seems a couple attractions marked on the map are missing. Several information signs in the area were in need of cleaning or replacement. It certainly is a nice place for a walk and to see and smell the natural beauty of the area, but I don't know that I would come back again.”

“I recently had my wedding at Ballroom at Ellis Preserve and can't even being to explain how happy I am with our day. From our first tour with Tina, she thoroughly explained every detail and option that Finley had to offer. The day of the wedding was so stress free thanks to Ellis with the staff that they have working to assist you in making your special day easier. From morning to night there was always someone coming to me asking if there is anything that we needed help with. All of our guest's RAVED about the food, many letting us know that it was the nicest wedding that they have attended. Tina, our event coordinator also does in house events. She further exceeded any of our expectations for the centerpieces to the decorations and I set them very high. This was the best night without a doubt & I will forever recommend Finley Catering!!”

“Merion Tribute house is the perfect venue for a rustic castle-style wedding. It was everything we wanted in a venue. The Legion room is perfect for hosting a cozy indoor ceremony while the patio and lounge are perfect for cocktail hour. The ballroom is the perfect mix of large to host but still hinting toward rustic formal charm. The stage is perfect for a live band (we had one and it was great!) The entry area is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and the building itself is a jewel. You get the entire venue to yourself for your day, no sharing with others, and Collette was very easy to work with and has all sorts of diagrams and information on measurements and whatnot for helping you plan things out. She can work with you to store your decor and alcohol at the venue in advance so it's already there days before your event. They have preferred caterers and we went with John Serrock who was amazing as well. This venue was everything we hoped and dreamed and was reasonably costed too. “This restaurant has now passed from founder to son and has maintained its excellence. Informal, but an interesting menu with selections of fish, meat and vegetarian. My lamb shank tagine was excellent. It was served on a bed of couscous.”

“Located in the heart of the walkable Skippack Village, this classy but casual, rambling place was a lovely escape. Heading past the welcoming hostess to the to the Rathskellar for the danceable rockabilly and roots rock band Delcobilly, not quite knowing what to expect, I passed several large, pleasant, windowed rooms with tables and staffed bars. Descending the stairs into a place that was not at all cellar-like, I found a living area with beautiful, ornate, dark wood, carpeting, and several rooms flowing one to the other. From the bar, which had cushioned, backed, swivel stools and a couple of high top tables, you could see in one direction a room with comfortable sofas facing a fireplace mantel, and in another the room where the band had set up behind a small parquet-look composition dance floor. Off of those 2 rooms was a large, cozy room with café tables and chairs. Your choice of seating, no reservation. The plentiful staff was professional, personable, and attentive. People drinking anything from bottled beer to mixed drinks were treated with respect. The shrimp cocktail I ordered had the biggest, best shrimp I've had in many years, and came with a cloth placemat and napkin. You'll understand that I also must put in a word for the spacious ladies' room with its modern fixtures, yet wonderful old wood decor. Highly recommend this place where you can go, "ahhh", and forget about the outside world for a while.”

“I rented the Saturday Club as our wedding venue. Dennice handled the process of our rental perfectly, and when she was unable to give us a tour prior to renting, Lindsey was able to show us around. The building is great, and old as well. We hosted about 60 people at our wedding on a Sunday and it went great! Ruben, the event manager was awesome and even helped me with some quick panic breathing exercises right before the wedding ceremony. Also, for a nice building with a large kitchen for catering, the price was unbeatably low. Very well worth the money!”

“Our wedding at The Duportail House was amazing. They were one of the very few places that allow couples to bring in their own caterers. I am Jamaican and my wife is Ghanaian so it was very important that we had our traditional foods represented. Additionally, my wife loved the old century, rustic look of the house which flowed well with our wedding design. Kate, the Duportail's coordinator, made sure my wife had exactly what she wanted in terms of layout and seating arrangements. Stop by and see if it fits your needs. Our wedding comfortably seated our 65 guests.”

“I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. The staff was welcoming and patient, resulting in a wonderful event.I highly recommend! Totally worth the trip, if you aren’t local.”
