I had literally just moved to the area when my car's exhaust broke. I first took it to one of the large national service chains because it seemed like the quickest and easiest option. While they were able to get me in right away for an assessment, they quoted me more than $2,000 to get my car back on the road. When I asked whether the damaged portion of the exhaust could simply be repaired rather than completely replaced, I was told it wasn't possible.
Feeling overwhelmed and not really knowing anything about exhaust systems, I started calling local shops to see if anyone could help. Most referred me elsewhere, often to locations that were too far away for my car to safely make it, and wished me luck.
Then I called PC Auto.
Jose answered the phone and was incredibly kind right from the start. He listened patiently to my entire story and immediately reassured me that this was absolutely a repair their shop could handle. When I dropped off my car, I met Palmo, the owner. Despite my frazzled explanation and stack of paperwork, he was just as empathetic, professional, and reassuring.
Not long after, they called with an honest assessment of what was actually wrong and provided a repair estimate that was more than fair. By the end of the same day, my car was repaired and back on the road—and running like a dream.
If you're debating whether to take your vehicle to one of the big-name auto service chains out of convenience or habit, I would encourage you to think twice. My experience at PC Auto was every bit as convenient, but with far more personalized service, genuine honesty, and significantly fairer pricing. As someone who was new to the area and incredibly stressed about an unexpected repair, they turned what could have been a terrible experience into an excellent one.
They've earned a customer for life. I'll be bringing all of my future vehicle maintenance and repair needs to PC Auto.”
