“I went there to get help finding a job. They helped me out with some clothes and finding a job online. Joe and Katie are very professional and nice to work with.”
“Friendly staff, and I have to thank Tara Joyce for all her hard work and effort she has put into her career/job. As well as the gratitude I have for her for guiding me and showing me how to be a positive, strong, and better person no matter the circumstances. Even when I felt low for asking for help, she made me feel human and comfortable, and definitely, she has manifested a confidence in me that I will forever be grateful for.”
“They're a great, wonderful service for kids who aren't able to go to safe homes and for teens escaping abuse. They feed, shelter, clothe, and have rooms to let kids be kids, which is especially essential when they come from dangerous, toxic environments. The fact that it's very close to the other nearby shelters and near the Scranton High School is wonderful, and the location was a very intelligent decision! They do the most they can to help, and their rapid rehousing program is a wonderful installment into young people's lives who are unhoused!Overall, this shelter has a wonderful mission and ideal. They carry it out passionately and empathetically, no matter who comes in the door.”
“Incredible day we had at the Trolley Museum, simply superb service helped us easily get into the museum and access a wide variety of trolley exhibits. Interactive exhibits allowed us to be fully immersed in the world of trolleys and it was simply a superb experience 10 out of 10 recommend if you have a spare day in Scranton with no idea what to do, stop on by the museum of trolleys for a good time.”
“Wonderful place to drop off handmade items. I had franchised bags that I am not using. They didn't mind the branding. I have dropped off handmade pillows also that were well received. 9 to 4p on weekdays for drop offs.”
“Street Cats hosts EPAA for tnr for stray cats. The staff are really great. The service is invaluable. They also place cats in furever homes. They rely on donations, please consider supporting them.”
“Nice clothing selection to choose from. I liked the Saturday $1 sale, too. Wish they would've given a discount on grease stained jacket, but didn't (hope it comes out).”
“I purchased 4 pieces of 12 month clothing for a big 3.00. 2 pieces were 1/2 half off. They have all kids clothes 0-15 Years for 1.00 a piece. Oct 2025
The only thing bad is no changing room at Keyser oak. There is changing rooms @ rt 6 in dickson city by bowling alley.”
